Description: With CompareChecksum you can calculate checksums of files. Calculation starts automatically, if you select a file per dialog or if you drag and drop a file on the software-window.
By comparing the checksums of two files, you can determine, that a download via internet was not corrupted. At the same time you can check if the file was possibly targetted by a manipulation.

I've compiled a quick test of some functionality that's part of an upcoming platform release. Specifically, a listener that you can leave running on a local PC to automatically run a PortableApps.com Platform drive when it's inserted. It's a simple functionality test with a single form showing when it detects a new drive and if the platform is on it, at which point it will start it up. There's also a non-GUI version that will run in the background as long as Windows is running (you can kill it in Task Manager if you need to).

hi everyone!

I made steam portable it is just like steam but it is an single .exe file and its compressed to 8.46MB, it works fine and it is good for people who like to play counter-strike and other steam games at work or at school, you just have to log in with your steam account to play!
