7-Zip Portable 4.57 Pre-Release 2

I've almost completed the 7-Zip Portable update which required changes to the launcher, installer... pretty much everything... as the last time it was updated was before we even began using PortableApps.com Installers (and it required a quick 30 lines to remove the files that get removed from the last version to ensure in-place upgrades). I've got about 30 minutes of work on it (mainly final testing across OSes, packaging, releasing and announcing), but I'm fading too quickly to complete it tonight. I'll have it up tomorrow as a release, though.

Portable Tremulous 1.1 (Game) [Testers Needed]

Submitted by zhou yu on January 19, 2008 - 2:47pm

Tremulous is an open source game that blends a team based FPS with elements of an RTS. Players can choose from 2 unique races, aliens and humans. Players on both teams are able to build working structures in-game like an RTS. These structures provide many functions, the most important being spawning. The designated builders must ensure there are spawn structures or other players will not be able to rejoin the game after death. Other structures provide automated base defense (to some degree), healing functions and much more…

Regshot Portable 1.8.2 Development Test 1

Submitted by Patrick Patience on January 18, 2008 - 10:42pm

This is just an upkeep of Espreon's to the latest release, with a fix for drive letter change and your shots directory. John's KeePass launcher made this a since to update. Smile

For those who don't know, Regshot is a registry utility to take before and after shots of a registry to monitor changes. This release should change the drive letter of your shots directory with each new drive you are on. As Regshot is developed by a new author, this is his version, but I will upload the old version as well for those who have preference in it.

Let me know if anything doesn't work right. Blum

A NEWER VERSION HAS BEEN RELEASED:
https://portableapps.com/node/16839

I've posted a development test release of Spicebird for testers. It's basically an email, rss, PIM and IM application suite based on Thunderbird, Sunbird and xmpp4moz. It's a little early in its development cycle (pre 1.0 release) but there's been some interest in it, so I got permission to do a version.
