Just posting in anticipation of an awesome upcoming few weeks for PortableApps.com.
Exciting times!
I downloaded MS Office 2010 home and business and tried to install in XP SP2 and I got an error message saying that a file was corrupted. I looked online and I found out that I needed to have at least SP3.
This logo looks awfully familiar...
[screenshot of trademark infringing logo removed]
And they took the slogan too..
This site praises Portableapps, but... shouldn't they use a different logo?
Now I have the chance to use bootable sticks on my new netbook.
So I start getting interested if there is meanwhile any generic way to make any bootable iso to a bootable usb fast and simple way?
Ok, first, there should be a forum for posts about the forum... perhaps these go in the pa.com forum? I don't see that either.
Second. and why the first...
The bizarre thread view is killing me. I click on an email link and it opens the thread view with no indication of what is new or where it is...
Surely there are options to this forum software? Can we not at least use a commonly understood version of myPHPformus or whatever they call that (brainfreeze)
thanks
What is up with the official wiki?
mine died a mysterious death.
I had a 2GB sansa Clip which had a firmware upgrade to play FLAC, OGG and WAV (better than previous FW).
Ok, I'm looking into building a computer over buying one
because I don't like my selection available to me at the stores. I need you people, as my friends, to give me feed back on what to buy:
~ !!! On a $800 budget !!! ~
- Mother Board (looking at Gigabyte)
- Processor (looking at AMD but will accept Intel depending on which is the better bang for the $$)
- Hard Drive (Western Digital or other reasonable brand the does 320GB on up)
- Video Card (Something nice)
- RAM (how many GBs and what brand???)
Any Help is very Welcome.
