I'm not new to portable apps and have been using them for the past six years.

I usually take a separate back-up of my data at work just for my own piece of mind. To do this I use Synkron portable. It's nice and convenient. I assumed that most portable apps install 'something' to the host machine when they are opened, but then 'clean their trail' when they exit.

All links for this program are down.. and the newest one (with megaupload being dead) is dead too..

could someone who has the latest app reupload it to www.mediafire.com for me?

I've been using foobar and it allows scrobbling via the last.fm site with it's built in setting. (I can't use the last.fm app because I can't install stuff at work.)

I just recently installed the portable apps suite and love the update feature. Sadly, I can't figure out how to install outside portable apps in this suite. (I was using PStart before. I loved the simplicity, but the ability to auto update trumps all.)

Do any of the music apps in the "Portable App Directory" enable scrobbling support?

Hi, I'd like to use an older Skype version and I do have the old Skypeinstall.exe.

How can I make Skypeportable.paf.exe to use this local file instead of downloading it?
Well, I don't want to set up my own DNS server and webserver and reroute the download request...

Is there such a thing as a small app Relative launcher?

I use the portable app menu at home, but when i am out on other work computers i just want a Small app launcher that will allow me to launch 5 or 6 apps that i use all the time everywhere and are easy to get to?

However on one computer I am on drive D: and on another i am on drive E:, is there a way to get this to change automatically for the app paths?

Is there a way to get the apps that are in Development Test Release to update along with the regular (production?) apps? Now I have to scan through the test/development page & update any new ones one at a time.
