If you want to do something in school and you don't want to download all those stupid adverts, crap images, annoying JavaScript, and instead of bothering to use the mouse, your fingers would never have to leave the keyboard.

This may should have gone into a specific forum and if so, I apologize. I love my ebooks and keep them on my jump drive. But I can't always be on my own PC (sound familiar). Wish Mobipocket would come out with a reader for jump drives. Anyone know of a solution that I have missed? Thanks! Cob...

I compiled Tor and Vidalia (GNU GPL) on a Linux (Ubuntu 7.04) system and the binaries seem to be pretty portable. The run off of a USB key with no issues.

This site has a precompiled win32 version that works as a portable app http://sourceforge.net/projects/portabletor/

Anyone know if this is portable or can be made to be portable? It would be a nice addition to my apps list.

there is a program that i use to snap windows' windows to the desktop, to each other, and even their old position. it's called "allSnap".

would be nice to have a software ''write protect'' to prevent: let say some other programs on the host computer to mess up with the data on the usb drive if it is not to save/copy files.
