Got a suggestion for an app that should be portable? Post it here.

I thought I would post some features I would like on the menu (I would have done them myself but I suck at programming):
1. A program that you install onto the computer and then it starts up PAM on insert in case if there is a computer that autorun is disabled.
2. A start button (I know it's been made before) that runs on vista, is draggable, and has an invsibility mode.
3. Perhaps the ability to have cascading menus to launch your document without Windows Explorer.
4. An on the fly encryption program (I know truecrypt, and I know it requires admin privileges, not found in libraries).
Please consider creating a "Portable" version of the slimftpd.
Name of the program: slimfptd 3.181
Website for the program: http://www.whitsoftdev.com/slimftpd/
Description: From the website:
SlimFTPd is a fully standards-compliant FTP server implementation with an advanced virtual file system. It is extremely small, but don't let its file size deceive you: SlimFTPd packs a lot of bang for the kilobyte. It is written in pure Win32 C++ and requires no messy installer.
Include all the apps available here in a mega portable apps suite. After downloading it the users can just choose what apps to unpack
I will be teaching an intro to computer class beginning in Jan. and I am going to be giving all the students thumb drives with portable apps, but one of the requests from the school was a personal finance software, that could be taught to the students (all the students are the parents of the kids at this school) and since tax time is rolling around, I thought it might be a good idea, but when I went looking around I could find no *simple* tool that could do several things.
Track expenses, allow them to build budgets, and see how saving money will benefit them in the long run.
there needs to be a portable cd burner program
Hey portable app gurus!
I really like yahoo messenger, particularly the video chat portion of it, but I know that is closed source and isn't an option.
I found this app out there that is currently free.
I'd like a program that can speed up the computer by using my fast flash drive instead of virtual memory. I know about WinVista's "ReadyBoost" capabilities (like that'll work). The PC's at my school are older than my brother and sister! They run so slow, my toaster oven is faster (okay, i'm not comparing apples to apples, but it does take 10 minutes to have the PC download a picture of toast)! I know this isn't very feasible (I think), but it's worth a shot. Thanks.
Program: Pathological
License: Open Source/GPL
Description: A game by the 'Frozen Bubble' people
Website: http://pathological.sourceforge.net/downloads.php
The windows version is self-contained - just unzip and run the executable; no install. Perfect for a flash drive.
Hello,
Has somebody tried Color Schemer?
Is ther an app like that portable? It would be a good idea.
