Hi all!
If you have ever seen Macintosh you know its feature when folders are highlighted with different colors.
You can become the same feature on Windows systems, when you use iColor Folder (+ skin pack if you want). But you have to install this application! Pity!
I think many of us would like to use iColor Folder when it would became portable!
Is this possible?
Thanks in advance!
Would it be possible to build something similar to dotProject (http://www.dotproject.net/) at least some of the features associated with it (Gantt/Pert/WBS/etc) Project management tools as Portable.
I realize this may not be a likely candidate as it is more of a project server type of applicatioin, but some of the features would sure be nice to have in a portable environment. Thanks
Shane
...hi to everybody!
Sorry for my english... i'm an italian student...!!!
I've a demand for the developers...
Is it possible to run PortableApps at startup for use it on whichever platform? But for this maybe it need a part of operative system...!
Thanks for the answers...!
I think that Skype could be a good program to convert since it is a free download. This is very helpful for those who pay for their phone service. I would even pay to have a working version of this program as a portable application as I need it for business purposes. Please try it with this if you can I am not sure if it is an open source but go to www.skype.com and check it out. Thanks and good luck....
I'm not sure if this has been posted before (there really should be a search box), but I have a handful of fonts that I would like to be able to carry around with my portable apps (Hoefler Text and Gentium to name a couple). Is there anyway that this can be done so that fonts that I have on my flash drive can be used by portable apps in addition with the fonts installed on the computer?
I need to figure this one out ASAP. I went and tried out sharpdevelop but the version of the asp.net that it comes with is no where near complete doesnt even have the vb.net profiles fully.
So i need to somehow get VWD from microsoft to install on portableapps... im sooo new at this can someone PLEASE help me get this going? Yes i know it needs the .net framework etc etc.. but the .net framework is on all the pc's i will be using.
Thanks
I see you opened Text Editors section
there is nice open source text editor (with syntaxes highlights)
http://notepad-plus.sourceforge.net/uk/site.htm
it doesnt need instalation, so its already portable
Since I have a laptop provided by my employer (Government) I cannot have full access to some Windows' functions such as the onboard defrag utiliy or installing a registry cleaner. This is clearly a problem if I want to do some maintenance to the system, so I was wondering if you can provide a reliable and portable (for usb pen drive) defrag utility and a registry cleaner.
Thanks a lot for your attention
