PortableApps.com Platform

Since maybe 1-2 weeks after updating (and maybe after I once interrupted an update) and I want to terminate PortableApps it hangs with the message that UpdateService is still running and I have to terminate the program in the Task Manager.
Please advice.

I have a Asus Zenbook 13 and the font is blurry for some reason on the app. (Portableapps.com text)

Is there an option to turn off this text/image? If not can it please be a feature of the next release?

Is there any problem with the RSS feed?

This post is a feature request.

So I've just installed several apps on the Portableapps platform. Because of bandwidth limitations, this process takes some time (about an hour).

Some of the reason it takes long time, is that some applications demand the user to click "yes I agree to whatever the message says". In practice, if you want to make this fast, then you must "babysit" the installation - because the time between each of those interruption is very random.

Is there anything that can be done about the sometimes 5+min long start up time of portable apps application? Also, sometimes it likes to crash and not load at all. I've tried multiple USB devices and computers and cant seem to get a stable install. I could be missing something. Been searching the forums and haven't found anything yet to solve my issue.

The PortableApps.com Platform works okay with dark OS themes, but it could use a bit of love:

I try to update Google portable today but the installation does not finished.
I used either the automatic service or a separate .paf file. No chance.

How do you update .paf files that are imported to the PortableApps program? Are they updated automatically like any other PortableApp? Do I have to run the .paf installer whenever I want to update it? Or do I have to reinstall it with the new .paf file?

I am wondering the option get more apps the does not seem to be a search function is that correct ?
Also what ever option By title or By category I take the loading is painfully slow min 45 sec sometimes longer.

Is there a way to speed it up I gues its the loading from the repository that is taking so long but there are no options to get a different local repo ?
