I'd like to have a document that describes my portable apps - lets say called "helpfile" - launch directly from the platform in the same way that apps do.
At present I have an html document in "documents" - but it requires a lot of actions;
in platform "documents" - opens explorer to documents folder - find the right document - double click - opens in edge.
Ideally I want a single click "help" to open the document - such as in a pop-up box.

There’s a Check all/Uncheck all at the top of each section of The Portable App Directory. Would it be possible to have an option to check/uncheck only the apps in the particular section, instead of all available apps in the directory?

I'd like to suggest an option for those who are testing or following an app in several versions (eg:thunderbird which has many versions here and that we may want to keep in an older version while the extension store grows for the new code...)

What I would like is something that can be monitored by the updater and in a separate place.

For Installing new apps, currenlty the option shows as Get More apps by Title/Category/New Release/Recently Updated. When one option is selected other parameters are not available to filter. Instead of these options, If just one screen is made with a list having columns Title, Description, Category, Sub category (if possible) , Release date, Updated Date, Installed Yes/No, Size ,etc. ; User should be able to Click on the column to Sort them, search option will ease finding an app.

le site web PortableApps.com est temporairement inacessible(entretien) et l'application ne peut pas etre téléchargée (fichier portable_81.0_French.paf.exe

cela ce produit depuis quelques mois, es ce que vous avez ce probleme ?
j'ai désinstallé et réinstallé les applis sans succès

A quick question: is it possible to install the platform silently on the command line?
Small contextualization: I am creating a chocolatey package for this software. It is therefore necessary to install the application without any window appearing. However, installing PortableApps.com Platform requires selecting the user's language.
Is it possible to select the language beforehand on the command line? using, for example, the LCID of windows (in powershell: (get-culture).LCID).

I am looking for an application where i can copy files to my portable drive and change the extension to add a p after the period and have the file open with the portable application on the same drive.

I have noticed that since updating to PA version 17.1, that after I update apps, the PA icon disappears from the taskbar button.
It seems to be doing it consistently now, albeit only when it actually updates some apps and then must refresh the menu.
If I close PA and open it again, the icon is back.
Windows 10 Pro v2004 (build 19041.508) on i7-9700 with RTX2070.
PA installed on root of 1TB Samsung Evo 850 external USB 3.0 SSD.

To have the background colour of the Platform's icon in the tray to match that of the menu's theme.

I sometimes have 3 Menus running, fixed drive, USB drive and VeraCrypt mounted volume. Be nice to be able to differentiate them in the notification area.
