PortableApps.com Platform

My USB is Lexar 32gb, with NTFS fs and no lock switch. After I installed the platform (14.4.3), it was working for a little while. Suddenly, when I try to exit, it said something like "Unable to write to E://PortableApps/PortableAppsMenu/Data/PortableAppsMenu" or something like that. After that, all the files on my usb are write protected, and I don't seem to have the control over it, as Nothing seems to have worked.

Some users are experiencing issues updating apps via the current stable platform release. The error given will be similar to:

"Unable to download the file. This could be due to a proxy or network issue or the hosting server not permitting downloads from your location file. File:..."

This issue will require some investigation to solve due to the fact that the updater/app store uses the built-in Windows internet components to handle downloads. As such, we likely have a few issues to work on fixing.

I use a portable Firefox version ESR 52.2.0, and I already configured this version in mono instance. when I try to access a web page with the Firefox desktop version, a tab on the portable version is displayed.
is there any solution that disable the display of a firefox Desktop tab on the firefox portable version knowing that I want to keep the configuration in mono instance of the portable version that I use?

I don't use the PortableAppsPlatform for anything except to quickly and easily update all the apps (I use a launcher I wrote myself using Autohotkey). I was wondering if there is a parameter or another way to only update all the installed portable apps and then auto-close?
You're not supposed to PortableAppsUpdater directly, I tried that

I like to use portable apps (on the system drive) because of the automatic update feature.
Some are even in Windows Autostart (CrystalDiskInfo...), which sometimes leads to the "App has not been propery closed"-message (not sure about exact english phrase).
(I think when shutting down Windows the PortableApp-Launcher sometimes gets closed before the app it is monitoring)

It is then starting to clean up and exits.
It would be so much more convenient, if it could just start the app anyway after cleaning up instead of just exiting.

When I started PortableApps I got a list of three applications that needed updating. When I tried updating I got the following error message:

On startup today, I got the attached error popup.

I'm using the Platform for some years, and I see it's changing but the dialog window for getting new apps is still without any search box, however it got 10 categories there and 200+ item which are hard to find quickly when you need it.

Hi everyone. I just created portable installation of my old Diablo II LoD and my portableapps platform menu get 10 new files what belongs to diablo II LoD. Can I somehow create program group to store all Diablo II LoD related files ?

Possible workaround can be to hide unwanted files but i don't know how.
