Other: Requires Octave as well which is also GPL. I currently have it running on my flash drive and I do not think it accesses the registry but I am not sure of this.

I am am looking for a portable C\C++ compiler. I know there was a simaler post but it was about 3 years ago so I thought I'd start a new post. I enjoy C/c++ programing and I am looking for a portable compiler/editor/debuger like a IDE that I can use. I suggest addeing one to the PortableApps and to the Suite.

I wondered if anyone here has found a road mapping type appilcation that could be run on a USB stick or HDD.
I'd like to find something akin to the Autoroute or TomTom Navigator applications, obviously we cannot use those particular apps as they are not open source, but that is the type of app.

I have a feeling that the app may be easy but there will be a licensing problem with the actual maps, but I can always hope someone out there may have found something that is portable or at least carry-aroundable.

How about an app that lets you make/read .iso, .bin, .mds files like Alcohol 120%?

this is REALLY gonna sound like a very dumb question but is there is portable version of flock, i'm using the regular version on my desktop, but i'd really like a trimed down version without a lot of the web 2.0 crap that's forced upon you.
