Request Apps

Greetings and Happy New Year everyone!

I'd like to please request some 2d animation apps that I use often and are very good. All these are Open Source.

2nd is Synfig Studio: https://www.synfig.org/

Thorium is a customized fork of Chrome that has special builds for different cpu architectures, it also has support for Windows 7 and a build for Windows XP in planned.

I find it amusing that that the author holds onto Windows 7 enough that he decided to build his own version of Chrome.

There was some controversial over some "easter eggs" that has since been removed. In all honestly they are quite amusing and pretty harmless.

Besides this, I think this might be an interesting project to watch.

A new portable converter for video and audio files. I like it because it doesn't need the .NET files installed, unlike Handbrake.

Would love to see a GBA emulator and other emulators of the sort

Ansel is an open-source photo-editing software for digital artists, designed to help you achieve your own interpretation of raw digital photographs.
It's a fork of Darktable 4.0 (asnd it's compatible with this), but not with the following versions.
It's light against Darktable: installer is 83.6 MB instead of 116.00 MB.

As I rely on bitwarden for remembering my assorted list of passwords I think it would be beneficial not only for me but other portableapp users to be able to utilize this open source password manager .

It's an already portable program which saves the treeview of files within a selected folder or disk into a fancy html file.

ExifToolGui is a front end (a GUI) for the popular program (Windows command-line) ExifTool.
This is a rewrited version of original ExifToolGui by Bogdan Hrastnik.
The project is now hosted at GitHub and it's maintained by Frank Bijnen: first release of new 6.xx branch is of August 9, 2023.
