    from https://twinkletray.com/ :

Twinkle Tray lets you easily manage the brightness levels of multiple monitors.

This app adds a new icon into your system tray, where you can click to have instant access to the brightness levels of all compatible monitors. These brightness sliders can adjust one or all displays at once.

Midori Light, Safe & Private Web Browser

    Submitted by Ponchale on February 1, 2024 - 8:11pm

Midori is a browser that has been characterized by its light consumption of resources, fast and private, since it respects the privacy of users. I feel that it is a great browser that should be in PortableApps since it will allow more users to enjoy a Light and fast navigation in addition to protecting privacy.

It is feature-rich and uses Firefox/Gecko as a base for a market saturated with Chromium-based browsers.

    freemind portable

    Hi,

just downloaded the portable for freemind, but the complete name of the downloaded file is just 'file' (with 8606 kB).

    Appending ".paf.exe" didn't work.

What do you propose to deal with it to finaly be able to use freemind portable?

Do you know an adress to get a running file?

    tnxs a lot in advance!

    Anytype

    Submitted by Aguila on January 23, 2024 - 5:50am

Anytype is a very powerful local-first, P2P, open source note-taking and PKM (personal knowledge management) app that allows you to highly customize your information storage experience.

It is currently in beta, but very usable and fine-tuned already. I have used it for a couple of weeks now an build my PKM in it. It's lightning fast and very reliable. It syncs flawlessly between my computer and my phone.

To use it on other computers (work, travel) a portable app would be very nice as it has no web app.
