Portable - KDE for Windows

Submitted by newbie_nz on May 16, 2010 - 7:30pm

Hi,

Just thought KDE for Windows may be a good candidate for a PortableApps?

I've installed it on my PC, then copied them to my USB disk. All of its files seems to be contained in one directory but unfortunately, it creates the shortcuts in %USERPROFILE%. Not sure how to get around that.

Anyway, hopefully, PortableApps will be interested to check if it can be made portable.

Registry Cleaner

Abexo Registry cleaner is a good program, but I think you should create a restore point and back up your system before you use this program just in case as it's recommended. It works great because it picks left over errors from the registry cleaner CCleaner. Abexo picks up a lot that is left over. It's stable to and free. That is wh I think it should become portable.

G'day,

I would really like to see HediSQL in the apps list please.

They already have a portable version which I use, but would be great if I could get it at my favourite 1 stop shop Wink

This a tool I use for my web dev, along with the XAMPP, Notepad++, Filezilla and putty.

Thank you very much for such an awesome product.
Thanks,
=-)
