Cube 2: Sauerbraten is a free multiplayer/singleplayer first person shooter, built as a major redesign of the Cube FPS.

Much like the original Cube, the aim of this game is not necessarily to produce the most features & eyecandy possible, but rather to allow map/geometry editing to be done dynamically in-game, to create fun gameplay and an elegant engine.

The engine supporting the game is entirely original in code & design, and its code is Open Source (ZLIB license, read the docs for more on how you can use the engine).

I would love to see the current version of blender in portable format. There was an earlier version but that link is dead. Is it possible to make Blender portable??

Don't know if this has been requested before the Xion Music Player. The Xion Music Player site is http://xion.r2.com.au/ & also a portable zip is available for download http://xion.r2.com.au/index.php?page=download.

But do you guys think it would be made available as a PortableApps.com in the site, I have installed it in the PortableApps Menu in the directory and it does appear in the Menu and also works perfectly.

I would like to request Songbird (from the mozilla family), witch is open source.

Songbird is a winamp or iTunes style music player. Also great for organizing your music collection. And support ShoutCast Radio.
