Portable App Development

can a locally stored updates history be implemented with the following features?
A. it just only has to show the name of the PAF and the date + timestamp when it was installed or updated with latest being on the top
B. use symbols + ^ - for new installation, update and uninstallation at the beginning of each entry
C. Keep only the latest 30-50 entries
D. make it accessible from the Help menu in the interface with read only status and a copy button

Hi, I creating online installer of Obsidian Portable.
The online installer works well but there are two problems:
1. The online installer can't download ARM 64-bit version of Obsidian app.
2. The online installer downloads the official Obsidian installation file multiple times.

Hello guys. I am new to PortableApps, a colleague introduced me.
We are using some Apps for work with this platform and that mentioned colleague started portabilising those apps many years before.
Now I looked a bit further into an App, because I noted that this App wasn't actually portable.
He added an batch script to install some dependencies, but that only works if you delete a text file again. As a looked into those dependencies that come with the App I also noted there were scripts by the developer to install/uninstall those dependencies using "gacutil.exe".

Just trying out Firefox Portable and noticed that two profiles are showing one in
AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles
and one in the portable folder

Is any one else expericing a folder in the C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles

I do have a local copy installed also.

On latest install portable apps; 134.0.2 (64-bit)

The potplayer app has received several updates now with new features like subtitle generation using whisper so is it possible to repackage/update the app to the latest stable version? Thanks.

Suggesting/requesting that Calibre Portable include the standalone ebook-edit.exe and ebook-viewer.exe programs located in PortableApps\calibrePortable\App\Calibre be included, therefore independently launchable from the PortableApps.com Platform, in the PortableApps\calibrePortable directory.

I am a Windows 11 24H2 x64 user and would like to report an issue with your portable version of LibreOffice Calc. I have been using version 24.2.3.2, which I downloaded a while ago from your website, and recently I also downloaded version 24.8.2.

The file I work with in Calc has the following characteristics:

- 15 sheets
- 100,600 cells
- 4,608 pages
- 2 formula groups

The problem:
When I make changes to the file, the program crashes. The larger the changes, the higher the likelihood of a crash.

Firefox Portable 115.17.0esr 64 bit, Windows 7 x64.

If you install the Firefox flag as a default browser...

Then, when opening the link, for example, from the postal program, the browser opens a new window, while it uses the default settings. I think he does not see his main profile.

Can I fix it?

Can you make so that a new tab opens, not a window?

I have made a concerted effort to research this, and I am quite sure it can be done since i remember reading something about it a long time ago...

Basically i just need to know how i would restrict a 2nd or additional instance of the portableapp io developed to be run. I think i remember a setting somewhere... in the appinfo or launchsettings config files.... where if you set it.. it will prevent a 2nd instance of the app from running... that's what i need.

Any help appreciated.
