xtra error when trying to view shockwave dxr file

Submitted by logan3xx on November 17, 2010 - 6:15pm

When trying to view a shockwave dxr file I get an error:

"This application requires an Xtra (DirectMediaXtra) that either does not exit or failed to initialize properly. Please make sure the appropriate Xtras are in the Xtras folder(s)."

This only happens with some dxr files, not all.

Any help?

thanks

Portable Firefox 2.2? Where to dl?

Submitted by Mckenna123 on November 13, 2010 - 6:40am

Because a couple of issues with the newer Firefox versions and themes that won't work in it, etc., etc., I have had to stay with FF2.

However my Portable FF 2.0.0.3 is now very oudated. I was told there FF2 went up to 2.20. Is there a version of FF2 Portable that goes up that high? I can't find a dl anywhere but perhaps someone here knows. Just until a couple of themes and extensions (ext. that don't work just by changing the max version in the rdf file) catch up to the latest FF.

If anyone knows of a dl link, would appreciate it as after some time googling, no luck my end.

Hi,

I have been using the portable firefox for a while, however I noticed there's a different when searching @ google.
This is what I get at clicking on the background of a search result in the portable version: http://img573.imageshack.us/img573/7309/naamloost.png
I do not have this on my desktop version, can anyone tell me how to enable this? Is this an addon?

Thanks in advance,

Password stored not filled in

Submitted by DADSGETNDOWN on October 24, 2010 - 9:14pm

At Hotmail and Cnet.com the FFP Password Manager has my user names and passwords but it does not fill them in, it does here and google, although google is another small problem, I have different passwords at google and youtube, but when I store my youtube PW is stores it for google.com, so when I go to google it puts in the PW for yuotube. (1) I would like to try and fix one of the 2 problems there, and (2) and I better off using keeppasssafe ?
