Firefox Portable

after using firefox often doesnt it keep temporary files so you can load the page faster next time or something?
in regular firefox one can delete temp settings and folder to increase space

can i do something similar with firefox portable to reduce the space on my flash drive?

alright about a year ago i used portable firefox on a computer at school and i have no idea how anything was set i just installed it and used it right away and nothing was blocked and all java scripts and effects were working if anybody knows why it worked then and it does not now please let me know and even better if you have a solution it would be much appreciated.

I just started using portable apps and its been very useful.

After a while I thought it would be nice if there is a way to save the browsing history on ram (temporarily) so it doesn't slows down ff.
I always close the tabs and want to go back and it could save me some time..

Extensions for FF portable not being saved to USB...

I used to have no problems with extensions on FireFox portable as i've been using a different PC almost every day for years, and all the estensions I'd added over time were right beside me on my USB. However, after an update a few months ago I discovered that all my extensions had been wiped!

I keep getting this error message when I try to run FirefoxPortable. I extracted on my usb flash drive. Could not seem to find a similar question like mine went ahead and posted this sorry if its found some where else.

I get an invalid security certificate window for tons of websites. Couldn't find anything on search. Works fine on IE though. How can I fix?

I'm trying to get Firefox 4 Beta7 to run from my usb stick. Every time I install it and try to launch it the splash screen is displayed and then nothing happens. I have tried restarting the PC, reinstalling the app and even different usb sticks, but I cannot get it to load from any of them.

Is there a special method for installing this app that I need to follow? Or is there a fix?

I am an avid user of Firefox and most of the other portableapps software on my USB stick. Recently (since the previous USB stick and my washing machine didn't make it out together) I purchased a 16 Gb Imation and did a NTFS format.

Firefox is now so terrible sloooooooooow in responding that I don't know what to do now..It takes ages to start - the mouse seems to be frozen numerous times.
I can get a cup of coffee, chat with some friends and by that time FF has responded.
