Firefox Portable

If I log into Pandora Radio on my portable Firefox and then later log into it on the computer installed Firefox, I am still logged in.
And vice versa.
So somehow Pandora Radio is saving passwords onto the computer, but portable Firefox isn't supposed to save anything onto the host computer.

I have found 2.0.0.6, and 2.0.0.8 but am missing 2.0.0.7.

I would like to use all versions for testing.

I tried out the release of FFP3.1. One thing I noticed, and I'm not sure if it affects the local version too as i can't install it. When you close ALL of your tabs, it will actually SHUT DOWN firefox instead of leaving you at a blank tab. That's something that has never happened before.

Can anyone tell me how I can add TORBUTTON ADDON to firefox portable and have THAT run solely from a USB key? (maybe there even is a way to run the entire vidalia bundle/Tor/Privoxy from the USB flash drive altogether? - Nevertheless, this is not necessary for me - If just TORBUTTON add-on can run together with firefox from the USB DRIVE then I can install Vidalia/TOR/PRIVOXY on the computer itself..

Hello, I need to run Firefox from a portable USB drive. I want ALL the Firefox data/user data/app data/EVERYTHING be on the USB key and run from the USB key.

I want Firefox to leave NO TRACES AT ALL on the computer I use it on, meaning no hidden folders left, no cookies/cache left on the computer: I want everything stored and saved on the USB key. Cookies/Temporary internet files/cache - all has to be on the USB key, and when I choose "Clear Private Data" I want these files to be cleared from the USB KEY.

Frequenly Firefox Portable stops connecting to "any" website, it just spins and searches. Then if I close and try to reopen it, I get the message that it is already running and I have to reboot to get it to start working again.

Haven't renamed from the installation name i.e. still FireFoxPortable.exe
I can close out all processes in the Windows Task Manager except one "firefox.exe"
I am not really using the desktop version of FireFox anymore.
IE still works normally when this occurs.

I have updated FF portable twice now. Initial version was 2.0.0.12 (installed in Feb-08) then upgraded to ver 3.0 (June-08) and finally to ver 3.0.3 a few days ago. About 6 weeks ago I noticed that FF was deleting all of the cookies regardless of the privacy settings. I was hoping that installing the latest upgrade would solve this problem, but I'm seeing the same behavior. Any suggestions or thoughts as to what is happening? Thanks for the help!

Please help. I installed Mozilla Firefox for U3 from the menu on my SanDisk U3 Launch pad and my MS Internet Explorer (IE) no longer works on the host system.

IE launches but only has a desktop with no options that work. I have uninstalled and reinstalled IE from the Control Panel. This had no impact. I assume the IE settings were hosed. Note: This was the first time Firefox was introduced to the host system.

I would appreciate a lead on fixing the problem.

Ive downloaded the Italian Language Pack but i dont find in the option menu the way to change from English to Italian.
