Firefox Portable

Hello,

In one of my accounts the trash folder was getting slow. I don't know what happened after that, other than, it disappeared as a folder below the account name. I tried to create it anew, but it said it already exists and won't let me create it. In addition, I cannot delete email because the folder doesn't seem to exist. How can I fix this? version 2.0.0.11

I wasn't the first to have problems with the link to the flash plugin at this article:

I am still not sure what was happening, but I was definitely getting a download error. It's not there now.

I was able to confirm that I could right-click and download the xpi file to my Desktop and then install it. I suppose I should uninstall everything and see if that is any more predictable on a clean system.

Flash works fine.
However it writes in the %TEMP% and not locally.

Any suggestion to use a portable directory?

i realised that firefox's ram usage is growing by time while it's working. it was nearly 20-30mb when i run it, growed by time and now is nearly 90mb. also looks like growing still :/

why is this happening?

I have just purchased an textbook through Primis Online eBookstore. I have been unable to install ebrary to Firefox portable. Is their a portable version out there somewhere?

this is my first topic here, so please excuse if newbie question or not at the right place.

I was wondering if one could give a portable firefox to people who don't have time/mood to download extensions, set the right options etc.. E.g. to get rid of gif and pageload animations, or have comfortable download addons like scrapbook, plus some theme for dark pages. Most people use Internet Explorer for it's simplicity, because it's already there on their computer, and Firefox in the download-version doesn't have adfree surfing.

Hello there, I have installed your program on the weekend, and I think it's great! However, I have noticed this lag that seems to happen every 10 or so seconds. Is this due to the device that is running portableapps (i.e. flash drive) or is it the computer?

i have a olpc and would like a full version of firfox on a flash drive. is this in the works?

When I open Portable Apps, the initial menu lists(as shortcuts)all programs except Firefox. How can I replace it's shortcut on the menu?
