Firefox Portable

here at work, we have to use iexplorer and in order for the internet to activate we have to put a username and password. When that translates over to FF portable its just says it cant access the internet. Is there a way to have FF portable pick up on my network settings here at work and request for the username and pass to i can access ?

i want to know how can i find the file of my auto save username/password in firefox. its annoying to type all web site address/ usernames / passwords in text file. there wasn't any export option in remember password in firefox. in which file firefox collect those details?

Firefox 2.0.0.12 works fine.

I've heard it might be a firewall
issue. So, I deleted all ALLOWED
firefox entries and restarted
Firefox Portable - Nothing.

I added Firefox Portable under
the ALLOWED entries - Nothing.

It works fine on a PC at work
and coexists with Firefox 2.0.0.12
and Firefox Portable 3 Beta 3 from
the desktop.

What would it take to rename firefox.exe? What changes in the portable wrapper, etc. would need be made?

Part 1: is it possible to run FF downloaded from mozilla on portable apps without having to use FF portable? cause i had an issue with FF portable crashing and i posted it as a bug on the bugzilla forums but i didnt have a talkback ID to let them investigate it from. (i was somewhat successful in doing this the only problem was i lost the settings each time i came back since i primarily use portable at school)

Part 2: So this is why i am asking it cause when you download and install FF portable it doesnt ask if you want to install the TalkBack extension.

okay, Here seems as good a place as any to ask. for those familiar with openDNS Cool, for those not, head to www.opendns.com Short version ,it's a free DNS server, that tends to be quicker than those used by most ISP's and gives you control of your DNS features (content blocking, shortcuts, etc.)

personally I'm a huge fan of OpenDNs, and on their forums even several users have requested some sort of Firefox plug in, but it hasn't happened yet.

I use firefox portable. It was running smooth for a month. One day it goes weird and annoys me. I was surfing and firefox pause for top 5 seconds then start surfing for 20 seconds. It came back pause again for top 5 seconds. It keep redoing and I look for answer to solve this problem. My firefox is 2.0.0.12. My add-on is Ad-block Plus, DOM inspector, Google Notebook, and Switch Proxy Tool. My usb drive is PNY 1GB. It's same happened at my home and my job too. IE has nothing like this but I prefer firefox over IE. Thanks!

On all of my copies of PFF. There is the option to change the association, but there is no way too add the association, is there? I get the message "Could not be opened because the Helper Application could not be opened", if I hit "Retry" though, it will open with Adobe Reader or the portable .pdf application.

For some reason when i started up one of my two firefox portable installs everything was screwed up.
All it contains is a standard install with JTH's Firefox-IE drop in profile, adblock plus + IETab and flash plugin, and has worked fine before plenty of times.

Its not really a problem, it was fairly blank and i can easily remake it but i cant figure out what happened, if its suddenly gone unportable and left traces behind or something.

All my extension work fine on my computer, but when I go to the computer lab on campus none of my settings and extension will work. What can I do about this?
