Firefox Portable

i do not like the popup of the second window of the portable firefox!
how can i do ??
i have get all the setup right ,and there is no extension can help me !

can somebody give me some advice ?

Cross Platform pFF OSX script has to be edited with your current DEVICE name to work.
With this code Firefox start and sync from any OS X devices/volumes without edit needed:

I just installed pFF - great concept!

I'm having trouble with macromedia...I installed the Flash player with no problems, but I can't seem to get the Shockwave player to work. I followed the instructions at https://portableapps.com/support/portable_firefox#plugins, tried several times. I tried to install to both \PortableFirefox\firefox\plugins and \PortableFirefox\plugins, but the sample movie doesn't work at http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/welcome/ . The Flash demo works, but the Shockwave player does not. In the status bar is "Connecting to download.macromedia.com". I do have a np32dsw.dll in both directories mentioned.

When I installed my flash player i did it the wrong way!

I did not use www.portableapps.com to get it, i just clicked ok and installed it!

I will really think that is the wrong way, when reading the help.html file!

I have just re-installed portable apps after my USB key "broke" (it's the one thing I don't backup !)

This includes pFF and pTB, both of which are at 1.5
When I run both and added extensions both stated that an upgrade to 1.5 was available.

Am I missing something obvious ?
I chose no in both cases as they are already 1.5.

Is then an issue in letting pFF upgrade it's self (are the files not compressed differently or something) ?

i have pff 1.5 an my installed themes and extensions disapear when i move my usb drive to a different computer and i have to reinstall all my themes and extensions all over again on the new computer. is there any way to make pff keep all its settings when i remove it?

I had used a previous version of Portable FireFox and it worked great. For some reason, this version (1.5) continues to take many pauses, I see that it is interragating the USB drive. I have NO extensions, just the original portable version.

Any suggestions?

None of my other portable apps seem to go back an interrogate the USB drive every few seconds.

Yesterday & today i had several Blue screens of death. Every time, when i tried to search with google (with the searchengine in the top right corner), my pc crashed.

Am I the only one with this problem?
