Conflict between Firefox and Just Gesture

Submitted by Peter8087 on July 7, 2013 - 3:09pm

Just Gesture is mouse gesture program for windows xp. I am using it from several months and really make the things lot easier for me but i think there is conflict between it and Firefox portable which doesn't allow me to use Firefox portable.

The program has a option to disable itself on programs chosen by the user and remain disabled when a specified program is the active window. I have normal install of Firefox and i had setup Just Gesture to disable itself when Firefox is the active window so i can use the gestures from Firegesture addon that i have installed on Firefox.

FF 22: Other Languages? (Besides English)

Submitted by bunnypeeper on July 5, 2013 - 1:45pm

Since FF asks to download an update to 22 in my Spanish.International portable , I cancel the update, and go to the FF Portable page to download a fresh copy, I go to the Other Languages, and then it goes to the Beta FF23.
Looking for answers, there is in the FAQ that it is "ok to let firefox update itself".
So, It is advisable that in the absence of Spanish.International version 22 to just update it? Or have more patience while the 22 version is published?

Okay guys, I've been trying to figure this out all day and still, no success. If I change the localhomepage to Search.html and put the .ini file in the same folder as my firefoxportable.exe here is the path FF portable returns file:///\server\WebApp\Support\App\FirefoxPortable/Search.html Here is the path I need file:///\\server\WebApp\Support\App\FirefoxPortable\Search.html I don't know if this is important but after I submit the neeeded link here is what the url changes to file://///server/WebApp/Support/App/FirefoxPortable/Search.html I host the app on a local server.

Firefox Portable Cookies Location? Keep cookies in CCcleaner?

Submitted by FirefoxFan on June 27, 2013 - 10:53am

I'm trying to use Ccleaner to clear junk but I don't want any cookies removed from any browser. In the Applications tab there's no option to keep Firefox cookies probably because Firefox is portable (it's in my X drive partition) and not installed.

In the Options, Cookies menu it seems that every time I use the program if there are new cookies since I last used it, I need to select them and move them to the "Cookies to Keep" section. I don't want to have to do that. Isn't there a way to automatically prevent any cookies from being deleted?

After upgrading to FF 22.0 - Google sites crash due to a Javascript error

Hi,

Yesterday I upgraded from FF 21 to FF 22.0 right upon its release. At once, I started to receive a Javascript error in every Google site I use. It says:

Error: Illegal operation on WrappedNative prototype object

It is not a problem with Google, or at least not one that arises when browsed with Chrome or FF 12.0, which are my desktop browsers.

It is most probably a problem the guys in FF will have to solve soon. In the mean time, I wonder if there is a way for us using PortableApps to revert the installation and go back to FF 21.0.

Regards
