Firefox Portable

With version 54.0 I worked quietly with two windows, for a total of 59 tabs open.
With that version, I closed and restarted Firefox portable edition with all the tabs listed, without any problems.
But after upgrading to either italian v.55.0.2 or v.55.0.3, some cards disappear or rather reopen but no longer load contents because they have lost the URL and remain open as new tabs.
To be able to work with all 59 open tabs again, I had to make a version downgrade and restore the file sessionstore.js.
What's the problem ?

I'm sorry, probably my question was answerd earlier, but I can't found!

Following:
I want install "FirefoxPortableESR_52.3.0_German.paf.exe" at memory-stick, for portable use.
I use local, persistent, a Firefox-Portable-Edition, updatet to V54.0.1 (64Bit).
Now, the Installer of the "FirefoxPortableESR_52.3.0_German.paf.exe" refuse the installation while the local firefox is running!

Both firefox 54 and 55 are, on USB stick, fast in anonymous navigation but slow in not anonymous navigation !! It's a disappointment .... Why ??

While browsing pixiv with the firefox portable the site layout became borked losing some of it's several functions.

I just noticed this folder :
C:\Users\XXX\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Pending Pings
left behind after exiting FF portable.

Maybe it needs to be cleared up like crash-reports.

Noticed it in v55.

Never done a portable before, so I know absolutely nothing about this. Basically, I want to get Firefox 3.5 onto a flash drive, along with some add-ons and extensions. Is there any sort of step-by-step instructional available for us total greenhorns? Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks!

- Copied FirefoxPortable.ini from Other\Source to the folder containing FirefoxPortable.exe and made sure all the entries in it were correct.
- Tried to run "FirefoxPortable.exe -p" but found out later that it was not portable.
- Made an %appdata%\Mozilla\Firefox\profile.ini file and a Profiles subfolder (both empty) under that folder.
- Did not tamper with the App folder, except for deleting Firefox64.

Nothing worked. This seems to be a new problem as I couldn't find any solution on the Web.

I've being trying to run Firefox Portable (versions ESR 45.7 and regular 45) with jPortable (versions 8 update 91 and 121) with no success.

I'm capable of seeing the plugin available in the browser but when I try to run an applet (such as in https://www.java.com/en/download/installed.jsp) it just stays blank after I click on "Verify java version".

Some time later a message appears saying that it wasn't able to detect the installed version.

Any idea what is happening?

Could be as I had trouble with this one vendor on-line, just the one, as Amazon and the others seem unaffected. So below is a copy and paste I had with their help desk;
