[Fixed] Firefox Portable 5.0 leaves registry key when run as admin on Windows XP
I've just installed this and the key HKLM\SOFTWARE\mozilla.org is created (and not removed) when you go to Tools/Add-0ns.

Hello All!
When I initially installed FireFox Portable on the USB I could surf any webpage on the Host Computer.
The IE 8 installed on the Host Computer would give the following message when attempting to reach certain web pages:
Organization's Website access policy on monitored systems has stopped access to this website:
Even for PortableApps.org there was a problem:
Organization's Website access policy on monitored systems has stopped access to this website:
Has this stopped working in the new update?
I get the message and all tabs are closed, but firfox doesnt change to blue and all visited sites are kept in history?

I found a folder on my school user network drive labeled "cookies". It contains cookies from dates when I know I didn't use IE (I used it twice the entire spring semester). I also contained cookies from dates old enough that they should have been deleted when I periodically clear out the cookies.
So what I want to know is, where does Firefox Portable save cookies? There is also ~/FirefoxPortable/Data/profile/cookies.sqlite, could this be it?
I'm looking for the folder that Firefox(4) is storing the cached data, so i can try out some cache viewers/managers I've been meaning to. Could i get some help on that please?
How to enable extensions in Live (CD) mode - is it possible? I have installed Status-4-Evar 2011.04.06.18 and AppButtonRemove 1.0; they work well in normal mode, but when FF is running locally, they are disable.
Thanks in advance for help.
Hello,
For some time (maybe since Firefox 4.0), I think there is a bug in remembering my preferred locale. And my recent forays in PHP seems to confirm it: it is NOT defined.
The problem exists when I use the French portable edition of Firefox 4.01 and now 5.0, on Windows 7 and, I'm almost certain, on Windows XP. And it definitely is unique to the Portable edition of Firefox because the non-portable edition does not have this problem. And starting a new profile doesn't solve the problem.
Thanks.
i install FirefoxPortable_5.0_English.paf.exe on c:\FirefoxPortable,
run FirefoxPortable.exe at once and exit,
create C:\FirefoxPortable\Data\profile\chrome\userChrome.css.
userChrome.css is saved on unicode, contains below
@namespace url("http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul");
#browser { -moz-box-direction: reverse;}
Error Console:

I have found a way add KeyScrambler Personal to Firefox portable 5.0 and earlier. But am not sure how effective it is being that it is not installed at the Operating Software level (requiring a reboot and having kernel access) and is only manually installed at the Browser level.
