TB 3.0.4 Portable and Mailtweak Option Defer bug

Submitted by Stefan Schmidt on May 29, 2010 - 3:11pm

Yesterday I installed Mailtweak http://mailtweak.mozdev.org/index.html on my portable Thunderbird 3.0.4.
I need to use the Defer ( http://mailtweak.mozdev.org/mailtweak-defer.html ) option of this Addon, since sl8tr and other Addons don't work for TB3.

Everything works fine, except for this function. It saves the timed messages in a folder "Deferred" in the outbox, but they never send.
This might be a problem only with the portable version, because I have no problems with the local version on my other pc.

TB 3.0.4 *extremely* sluggish on TS16GSDHC6 Flash card

Submitted by VulcanTourist on May 25, 2010 - 1:16pm

I tried out Portable Thunderbird (via the full suite) installed to a Transcend TS16GSDHC6 16 GB SDHC Flash card. After installing the suite, I copied my existing mail stores to it, following the published instructions; copying the entire profile resulted in Thunderbird failing to start, so I backpedaled and copied the recommended minimum files. That worked, though I was missing a few UI customizations and some extensions.

TBP 3.04 problem? Cannot close "Account settings" dialog properly

Submitted by kermik on May 25, 2010 - 3:35am

A strange thing indeed: At one point the OK button at the bottom of the "Account Settings" dialog stopped working properly. I can still close the dialog by clicking Cancel, but OK doesn't work and hence no setting can be saved. Internet search turns up no solutions for me.

[Resolved] Message stating that folder is over 100Mb

Submitted by Frank1 on May 20, 2010 - 8:29pm

I am running TB Portable V2.0.0.23. Since I don't have any other problems I have not updated to V3 yet.
This message comes up when I receive a message that takes the folder size over 100Mb. When I click O/K button, it continues to work. I didn't realize that TB had this limitation, or is there a setting that brings up this message?
Thanks

Update: Noticed I have an add-on called ShowFolderSize. One of it's options is to set a maximum folder size. The default is set to 100Mb. This is the problem. Just changed the setting. All O/K now.

Full headers - How to copy

Submitted by Barbara in NY on May 20, 2010 - 4:06pm

I am able to open a message's full headers. Please give instructions for how to copy and paste the full headers so that I may forward such a message to to abuse @ (whatever domain name). Regular attempts to highlight, cut, and paste do not work for this purpose. I'll appreciate help with this issue.

XP / TB 2.0.0.24 / ThunderbirdPortable.ini / -ProfileManger

Submitted by tbdeveloper on May 20, 2010 - 12:30am
First off, this will probably end up being more of a "Portable Apps"
question, but the question is all within the domain of TB Portable...
so I ask the question here.

I'm using TBPortable 2.0.0.24 (okay, I think I originally installed
2.0.0.13, and it updated). Yes, I've been using Portable TB for
a long time. ;)

I just started a project where I needed a development profile.
So, I created 4 profiles --
o I went to cmd.exe,
o I cd'd to [...\ThunderbirdPortable\App\thunderbird\]
o I ran from command-line [thunderbird.exe -ProfileManager]
