Missing Character Text When Inserting Formulas Into Writer Document

Submitted by jnagyjr on October 21, 2010 - 5:33pm

I'm using OOo Portable (3.0 according to Help -> About OOo) which seems to be the latest available on the site (though others are mentioning 3.1.1, I installed this less then a month ago from this site). If this is incorrect, I'm sorry, just point me to the upgrade.

I'm inserting formulas into the text (font: Times New Roman) as I'm taking notes in class with OOop (the p is for portable, my own nomenclature). Some of the characters aren't showing up in the inserted formula as evidenced in this screen shot.

The inevitable has happened and the OO codebase has forked. Looks like the entire unpaid braintrust behind OpenOffice is going a different direction so the software remains FLOSS.

IDG News Service - Some developers of the OpenOffice.org desktop productivity suite announced a break from Oracle on Tuesday, introducing a new name for the project and establishing a new foundation to guide its future.

[FIXED] Abrir Archivos con doble click

Submitted by degiorgi on August 20, 2010 - 9:07pm

Deseo usar OpOf 3.2.0 Portable.

How much longer should I wait for approval from Oracle?

Submitted by Zalica on July 20, 2010 - 12:27pm

the openoffice portable is the program I use everyday. So I'm just concerned where would 3.2.1 be ready?
This post https://portableapps.com/node/19705 says PA needs updated approval from Oracle. That would be OK,but any idea when PA can get it? It's been several weeks already.Maybe Oracle is a little to slow about this?
