Other Apps Support (Deprecated)

I've already reported this issue in another thread shortly.

If I install PicPick via Apps -> Get More Apps... -> By Category in the PA.com menu, then PicPick starts in English language, though I've choosen the german language in the PA.com menu.

IronPortable.ini with Iron, same parameters work flawlessly.

Am I missing something?

Just so you know, HWiNFO & PicPick are both 404.

There is a directory left behind without being moved after running the Cloud Explorer in PicPick.
Location: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Cloud Explorer
I am running it on WinXP SP3, with administrator privilege.
Please fix the bug.

Most of the software i use is from Portableapps.

I have a problem with WinSCP. I use latest version from Portableapps 5.5.1(3970)

If i make desktop shortcut fron winscp menu to connect to a site it doesn't work. I get this error:

"The server rejected SFTP connection, but it listens for FTP connections.

Did you want to use FTP protocol instead of SFTP? Prefer using encryption. "

The connection i use for my sites is FTP.

Hi...I was wondering, please--I just downloaded FreeFileSync Portable, which is an .exe file. Does this mean that this app will install in the registry like other .exe files?

I was looking to use zipped file applications only, no more registry installs. I.e., no more program set-ups.

I was under the impression PortableApps.com did this, and did not include applications that would install in the registry (and, thus, I thought, no .exe's as well).

Am I missing something here, please?

Since the last update, I get the legacy login screen only, so I can only log in on my Skype account.
I don't have the option to log with my Microsoft account.
I use the app from an external HDD on a win xp and a win 7 machine.
I tried uninstall reinstall but nothing.
I read on some forum that it is a problem of security but can figure out what to do.

The platform indicated that the subject update was available but fails with a 404 error. The GC Portable page shows this version available as the beta download, which also fails, & I don't see the file on SourceForge. Was it posted & then pulled for some reason or perhaps got added in the text places but the file wasn't put on SF?

/eta/ I didn't see an announcement for it either.

After downloading and installing the VirtualDubPortable_1.10.4_English.paf.exe followed by installtion of the VirtualDub_Portable_Plugins_Pack_1.9.11.2_English.paf.exe to the same directory, when I start up VirtualDub_Portable, it doesn't behave as if any plugins are installed.
If I select "Pligins" from the "Options" pull-down menu, no plugins are listed (the dialog box is empty).

Any ideas what I might be doing wrong?
