Since the most recent update I can't figure out how to get the on-screen keyboard to appear. The help function provides almost no guidance at all. The version number is SpeedCrunch 0.11 (Portable Edition)(Qt 4.8.5).

I downloaded IObit Uninstaller Portable apps and copied it to my portable hard drive. On installing the apps it installed itself on to my computer and downloaded extra files from internet without requesting to do so. I therefore un-installed the apps. I then had to manually remove a service it had installed on my PC 'Live Update'. Was this supposed to happen? If so should there not be a warning. I was under the impression that the idea of portable apps is you can use them on computers without installing files.

Hi, my issue is I ran a portable version of chrome, while I had the Chrome 32 installed for all users on windows 8.1, chrome 32 Version 32.0.1700.107 m. I was revising some registry of the portable version because it was causing me problems since it was running and my external drive caused me problem continue running And forgot to stop the process of Chrome portable while removing the drive. I accidentally deleted this folder: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Applications\chrome.exe.

Help, I have used Java Portable for my MineCraft because you just had to drop it in a folder. I need help with another program to do with Minecraft. I put the Java Portable in the folder but when I try to open it, it says "This Applications Requires a Java Runtime Environment 1.5.0" Help, the thing I am trying to download is here (http://www.technicpack.net/download) I used the Windows One.

I just downloaded the new FoxitReader Portable and I found a directory left behind.

Location: %ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Foxit Software

I am running it on WinXP SP3 with administrator privilege.
Please fix the problem.

McAfee Stinger is unable to download via the platform or the installer run directly and will return a 404 or invalid error for some people. We're working on a solution.

The new McAfee Stinger Portable 12.1.0.779 attempts to alleviate the issue by downloading the license agreement first. Note that THIS WILL NOT HELP PLATFORM UPDATES, so we do not need additional reports of this failing via the platform updater.

I am able to download a paf file of Process Explorer from Portable Apps, both online and from within the Portable Apps itself, but when trying to install to my USB drive, the installation always fails with a message that the file is incomplete or corrupt. This is not a download issue on my end. I am having zero trouble downloading other files from Portable Apps or anywhere else and using them. Is Process Explorer 16.01 not going to be supported as a portable app? Thanks in advance!

I recently got some strange behaviour from Smart Defrag 2.9.0 r3.
Several reinstalls didn't fix it, and eventually I couldn't even uninstall it.

I believe I haven't been using the app for many, many months, but auto-update is on.

First indication, not many days ago, was a Windows (Vista) error popup saying

Smart Defrag Portable cannot be started. You may wish to re-install to fix this issue. (ERROR: App\SmartDefrag\SmartDefrag.exe could not be found)

My computer lost the .sla file association to ScribusPortable (and many others as well, due to a power cut - I've been able to get others working). Any idea how to get it "restored" i.e. that by double clicking an .sla file it would be opened in a ScribusPortable?
