Please repair your PortableApps website, it not display picture/images.
Only adds display pictures/graphics/images.
I try some Internet Browsers, it have the grapics not displayed problem, it's not only at my side.

Hi, I'm new to this tool and something that I have noticed is that when launching a program outside of Start.exe the program writes it's data into %AppData%. This also causes the program to have two different set of settings, one with the %AppData% one and another with the portableapps folder.
Is this normal behavior? Can I make it so that this doesn't happen? If possible I would like it to just always save the data into the Portable Apps folder, regardless of how the program is launched.

I've been considering switching some apps that only run on Windows 10 and 11 to 64-bit. Unlike Windows 7 which had a good percentage of 32-bit users. Windows 10 had much fewer. Microsoft stopped allowing manufacturers to bundle the 32-bit version of Windows 10 with new systems 3 years ago. Windows 10 32-bit is below .1% of Steam installs (note that this is not an accurate measure of overall PC use, just gamers).

So, I'm wondering who here is still running Windows 10 32-bit and what people's thoughts are on this.

I think, use this aplications on Linux, maybe is esy ?

Is there a solution? FFp persistently shows the popup with "Update available". I've tried all the settings and tricks I can find on the web, but I can't get rid of these notifications....

Not sure if this has been covered elsewhere, I couldn't find anything, but I am wondering if there is anyway to have the Opera cache folders trimmed down at regular intervals. I have noticed that after using it for a few days that the folder can grow to over 1 GB. I am in no way very technical about the running of the portable apps, but wondering if I use the "AdditionalParameters=--disk-cache-size=" setting it might help.

I regularly go in and delete the thousands of cache files that build up, but thought there might be an easier way.

I used to work in a university where malware was rampant on all the smaller local networks. I love the idea of my most,-used apps being portable on a stick. But I am a little worried about plugging a stick into a bunch of different computers. I would like to hear about people's experience with malware and it's prevention with portable apps. Also if Portableapps.com has recommended best practices for malware hygiene, I would be glad to know what they are.

When I compile with PortableApps I see that in exe have packed 32bit version off nsis plug-in.
Do it is possibile to pack instead x64 nsis plug-in?
