I bought a new computer and tried to connect USB to it. But the USB doesn't get detected. Can anyone help me in fixing this problem?

about PAP i think essential would be option to sort app list in portable apps platform by the apps u last installed and other would be by apps u updated last

so like i yesterday checked which apps was updated or added last and on top was wise registry cleaner or something like that i check box next to it and i go read names and categories of other updated/new made apps

but by the time i started to install that app and few others i selected i forgot their names and option to sort list of apps on PAP to put 1st apps i installed (or updated) lately would be like big help

I installed all the programs and I found these errors:

will not install:
kchmviewer-bad script, working installed alone

Many time by installing many programs at 1 time it show "file not found" and "divide by zero" and crash portable apps launcher.

I recently installed the PortableApps platform and numerous apps. However several apps fail to completely download and install. OpenOffice, LibreOffice, K-3DP, GIMP and Inkscape download all but the last ~5kB, then give a download error and fail to install. Help!!

Today i received a SPAM email on address i allocated specifically for portableapps.com. Other addresses allocated for other sites didn't get anything (so it wasn't a mass-address attack on my domain). Please check your security logs for userbase leakage.

I will provide *.eml if needed.

I'm sure this must have been asked before, but I couldn't find anything. Is it possible to limit the update frequency to maybe once a week, rather than every day?

If there are any users here running PortableApps from cloud services such as Dropbox or Skydrive, do you have any "best practices" that you adhere to, either self-imposed or otherwise recommended?

Due to the fact that numerous antivirus products label DShutdown as either a potentially unwanted program or malware, we have removed DShutdown Portable from the app store, updater and website. Users regularly had the app removed from their drives when used on various PCs and we had a couple close calls with hosting considering it a virus, so we have made the decision to permanently remove it so it does not otherwise impact our users or our site. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

I am changing my USB with the PAL. I've got some questions,
Which document gaves the folders their icons?
How can I change the folders like this:
+Libary
| +Documents
| +Pictures
| +Music
| +Videos
Gave theme Dutch Names, and the PAL Menu will still find the folders?
