apps launch from Free Commander

Submitted by Budda Belly on August 4, 2010 - 4:14pm

I would like to use Free Commander to launch different apps so I'll have a consistent look from system to system. I have set the file -> view icon to launch universal viewer, the favorites to launch Filezilla, ClamWin, and some other apps. When I switch to another computer the flash drive doesn't always map to the same drive letter so if I select one of the icons it will attempt go to the internet to choose a program to run the app. I have changed the path in the settings and favorites edit bar to the replace the drive letter with .\ and still no success.

I'm just looking to poll the PA.c community in general on its opinions of SongBird(Portable). It seems that it's not winning fans as fast as I'm sure the developers of it would like. I see posts here for MediaMonkey, MusicBee and other iTunes alternatives, basically anything but SongBird! Everyone seems to be shying away from it, why is that? I have to confess I've only used it very briefly and I found it okay, comparable to iTunes although not nearly as polished.

Cela peut paraître une drôle d'idée comme ça, mais l'intérêt est évident si l' on s'imagine que les applications liées sont "portable" et sont sur une clé USB ...
