I can't update my apps automatically,
I have this message "unable to connect to portableapps.com to retrieve portable apps. try again later [SendRequestError].

Any idea ?

i'm indonesian, sorry for my english first.
so, i've using this application for several months since i'm using windows 7.
after i upgrade my system to windows 8, everytime i run this application there's always an error appear.
it says "you are not allowed to write the registry, continue anyways?"
so i always run it as administrator, since administrator have access to modify registry.

but then i realized that run this software as administrator will makes me cannot drag and drop from explorer to photoshop.

i have set Firefox to open MAILTO: links with Thunderbird (to the relevant Options entry)

when i click a mailto link in my portable firefox, while thunderbird is not running, i am asked to create a new account in thunderbird for newsgroups, instead of composing a new email

when i click a mailto while thunderbird is running, it correctly opens a compose new email window

any idea?

Hi.
This is happening to me only when moving or installing an app on a external drive.

For example:
- Install Firefox Portable on your hard disk.
- Run it and close it.
- After that copy it to your external drive and run it. The first time you do it all should be normal, but if you run it one more time it starts as the first time. It also asks me to predeterminate the browser, something that shouldn't happen.

The same is happening with Opera, but not with Google Chrome. You can also test it installing them directly on your external drive.

Where i can download any of the applications included in the portable suite? Must be different that sourceforge, because my country is blocked in this site. I live in Cuba.

Maxthon 3.5.2.1000 seems to be missing its spellchecker. Dictionary files are there, but it isn't working. Anyone else having this issue?

Google chrome portable download manager extension?

I a looking for a extension that works like downthemall or even a portable download manager that integrates well with portable chrome.

I have done some looking and really have not found anything that currently works well.

Just updated Pencil Project via updater, but wanted to d/l 2.0.3 binary as well. The Pencil Project PA page still includes the 2.0.2 download.

Can go directly to SourceForge PA Project, but thought I would mention this.

Still looking forward to seeing PA12.0.

I'd like to add custom icons to some of the subfolders in my Documents folder, similar to the Music, Videos & Pictures folders. I know how to achieve this, but I'd like the icons to match the style of the Portable Apps built in folders, but I can't find the source for the icons that are used.
