Please create a portable version of the free open source (CC-GNU GPL) Celtx program www.celtx.com which is actually based on Firefox 3 and is a great tool for creative writers and people in the media profession (screenwriters, preproduction staff etc., movie making) and has been included in the curriculum of many international universities. It was also used for making many popular blockbuster movies (refer to Wikipedia for detaills). Celtx v2 released on 25 Feb 09.

GUI for PdfCrack

Submitted by rubypdf on February 25, 2009 - 9:07pm

PDFCrack is a GNU/Linux (other POSIX-compatible systems should work too) tool for recovering passwords and content from PDF-files. It is small, command line driven without external dependencies. The application is Open Source (GPL).
I compiled it under Windows, but it is a console version, maybe some body like a GUI for it, but I am not familiar with GUI creation.

Wippien (Hamachi equivalent)

Submitted by etgohomeok on February 25, 2009 - 5:54pm

I know Hamachi has already been requested and there were issues about the source code not being available.

Well I found this with some searching. I haven't used it yet, but it seems to do pretty much the same thing as Hamachi. And it's an open-source program.

This would be useful for my non-gaming needs at my not-school when my non-friends and I don't get bored.

The website is here: http://wippien.com/

Anyone think they could make this runnable off of a flash drive?

One Button Automater

Hello all! I just began using u3 on my cruzer 16gb and its really exiciting!! I've been using roboform2go to save all my passwords and its really nice not having to type in 12 different passwords every time I go to work. But I can think of a few ways this program and other password managers like it could be improved. I've searched around to see if any of these programs have any sort of automation features built in and haven't had any luck. Imagine if within your portable password manager you could:

Setup a Home, Work, School, etc. PROFILE

Example: Work Profile

Click WORK button
