Drag & Drop not working for apps started through platform
I encountered the following annoying behavior:
New: BriskPlayer (Jun 08, 2026), Platform 30.4.1 (May 30, 2026)
1,400+ portable packages, 1.2 billion downloads

I encountered the following annoying behavior:
I am chinese。I have downloaded pre-R3 and use the update function for download apps。It seems the downloaded apps all in english。I know I already set the platform in chinese。
the second suggest:when any apps download broke, the process of download will be paused before you clicked。I think :it should only write a log file and go on。after all done, try to download again ,then renew the log file and show it。
Since I didn't see a forum dedicated to using Code Blocks Portable, I figured I'd come here instead.
Code::Blocks is a free C++ Programming IDE and has been Portified. It works great with one issue that I've been trying to figure out a solution for. In code blocks, in order to set up the compiler, one must click:
Settings menu -> Compiler and Debugger... -> Toolchain Executable Tab
I have just installed Portable Apps Suite PA.c Platform 'Next' Pre-Release 3 to the root of my flash drive, but have been unable to launch any of the programmes included in the icon list. What should I do?
I'm not sure But similar to Firefox and Chrome, I wonder if the Platfrom can have stable, beta, and dev.
This is the Situation (especifictly With GoogleChrome - Now and Then "G.C.").
1. I want a StandAlone Portable G.C. distribution.
2. I downloaded the Portable online Installer - and Executed;
I Choose an folder to Deploy it. Wait that the installer (Stand alone G.C.
installer) get downloaded, uncompressed and installed (portable version).
3. Then I Compress the Folder where I Deployed the Portable G.C. distribution,
and Optionally I Make a Auto-Extract version of that Folder.
Now if I want UPDATE an existing Portable G.C. installation... I just
I have used TeamViewer Portable several times, it runs well although with frequent disconnection, however I think that it is caused by the bad internet connection.
Now, I want to use the VPN facility, unfortunately that the software require installation of its driver.
Is there any solution to avoid installing the driver?
Update on 20 September 2011:
My conclusion is: There is no such thing like portable TeamViewer for VPN service.
I was hoping to install many of the apps on the HD of my brand new notebook (i7 running win 7 premium) but I'm having trouble getting past the same error, whether using portapp platform (beta or stable release, same error) as well as individual apps. Was originally trying to install under/program files (x86) but even installing under less restrictive areas of the HD makes no difference...
FWIW, I ran this silly MS app and it reports no probs http://support.microsoft.com/mats/Program_Install_and_Uninstall
The update cannot be downloaded error free. After about 45% downloading stops.
Would it be possible to update the same portable app in more than one subfolder of \PortableApps\?
Some people may be intereseted in having:
\PortableApps\FirefoxPortable4Google \PortableApps\FirefoxPortable4Yahoo \PortableApps\FirefoxPortable4Microsoft \PortableApps\FirefoxPortable4Banking
for different browser environments each with different plugins, passwords, settings.
The same for Thunderbird, Chrome, etc.
Could it be possible for PA Updater to scan all (four in this case) folders and update FF6.0.1 to FF6.0.2 in all folders?
