Does WinMerge really merge the way we want it too?

I love portable apps. I seem to get a secondhand computer from friends, get a new one at work, or school every other month so keeping all my data on an external hard disk with most of my major apps has been a life send. I don't usually contribute to free ware causes but if i can get this shaped up there are a few developers out there to whom I would gladly give funding money (what little i could anyway).

I have 2 small problems with Portable Apps. One, the Menu does not laonch automatically when I insert flash drive. I start it by exploring to the "Start Portable Apps.exe in root of USB drive or by making ashortcut on my computer desktop. 2. One the menu program is running in the Taskbar there seems to be no way of stopping it except by using Ctl-Alt-Delete and ending the application. The "x" in the lower right corner of the menu does nothing. Any suggestions? Thanks

Portable Apps Menu size

Submitted by taekimon on April 23, 2008 - 11:14am

is there anyway to change the size of the menu?

I'm running portable apps on my eeePC and when i start the portable apps, the menu pops-up and occupies alomst half the screen estate. Am hoping to find a way to reduce the size of the menu so that it can fit nicely in a 800x480 puny screen. Thanks!
