I have FF3 and TB2 Portable allready installed on my PC an would like to use the Backup function of PortableAppsSuite.

What I tried is this:
- copied the PortableAppsBackup-folder somewhere else
- launched PortableAppsBackup seperately from the Suite from the new folder
- started a "Complete" backup

I guess that's not what I wanted

Of course there are other backup programs, but this is the only one I found, which I can run, it knows the location of my PortableApps(-Profiles) and backs it up to a 7zip-file.

Is it possible to change the file manager that opens up when you open up say documents from PAM 1.1 to Xenon File Manager.

I recently bought a new thumb drive, what is the easiest way to move all of my information from my old drive to my new one and have it keep all of my current setting/information?

When I go to install Portable Apps on my device, the device is not recognized as something I can save to.

Is this a compatability issue, or am I setting things up wrong?

My drive shows up in My Computer\Sansa Clip 1GB

Is there a way to incorporate command line switches for programs using the portableapps menu? I run mIRC from my flash drive, but whenever I open it from the menu, it assumes it's supposed to use the registry. I have to open up a command prompt and use the -portable switch to get it to do what I want.
Is this part of the menu already, or should I make a feature request?

New to Portable apps and already screwed up.
Installed on ipod, but to play around w1th it I installed to C: Drive also.
It now appears on explorer as C: Drive.

It appears to have removed my Administrators privliges, and will not allow other browsers etc. when running. It does not appear on list of Add/Remove programmes and I cannot do a system restore to unistall either.

Any ideas?

When I set the language option with non-English on English windows, menu items on the right side can't show those names correctly.
It still works without problem but I just want to use it with language setting I prefer.

Yeah, how do you change the icons for those folders in PAM 1.1 because it no longer shows the Desktop.ini thingy. Thanks in advance.

so I could get rid of all the undesired "inno setup" and "uninstall" exe-links.

Also nice to have would be integration of any filetype to be launched from the menue (e.g. my TiddlyWikis).

Anyhow - the PortableApps thing is a great invention and I really appreciate it.
