you cannot synchronize 2 folders with names beginning/ending with brackets like
[ joe ]. Very annoying when you want to give priority to specific folders. the problem did not occur on the previous version. Can somebody alert the developer ? Other than this specific issue, this app is just great !

Recommend adding all the topic paragraphs for each titled discussion to the main index table of contents.

Currently Sync shows only two discussions. When Sync is selected then the detail index lists User Interface subtopics but the design formating of the page does not reflect these discusions as subtopics of the User Interface.

For clarity and ease of finding descriptions just put them in the main table of contents as follows:

This is my first post and I am a lay person, i.e. I don't know the jargon, but I hope I can make myself understood.
I installed Toucan on my external hard drive a while ago and I saw a new version and decided to update. However, I couldn't find the uninstall routine, so I went to Sourceforge support - there wasn't a Toucan specialist around - and described the problem. Support advised, if the routine wasn't there just delete the old version and install the new one. This I did.

I have Toucan v3
I need help with the script to run a sync of 3 jobnames that I have saved. I have tried the following and it doesn't work.

Sync(Doc1)
Sync(Doc2)
Sync(Doc3)

This happens on WinXP SP3 as well a on Win7 (both have latest updates installed).

Toucan seems to crash everytime it synchronizes a directory called @PROGRAMFILES@. I'm just reporting this bug.

I noticed that the Update function has been removed from the new version. I still needed to update so I started looking through the help file. Reading it, I noticed that you can check the "Modified time", but according to the help file, even if the destination file is newer, it still gets overwritten. So my question is how do you perform an "update" without overwriting files that are newer in the destination than the source folder?

There is one specific computer in which only Toucan 3.0.0 works. I just click enter and nothing happens. When I open the internal app\Toucan\toucan.exe directly, I get:

I've tried renaming folders and re-installing but nothing helped. Only re-installing 3.0.0 worked. I bet it's something regarding dependencies which didn't exist in 3.0.0.

Please make it as independent as 3.0.0.

Sorry but 3.0.1 still seems like it is not ready for prime time. Back to 2.2.1 again unfortunately

I use Toucan for Sync, and so my comments below all relate to the Sync tab.

1 - Mirror option is not detecting changed source files or deleted source files, only new source files.
Add new file to source, it gets copied to Destination
Delete file from source, does NOT get deleted from Destination
Edit file in source, does NOT get updated in Destination

Since I have several troubles with 3.0.1 I would like to install teh old 2.2.1 version bit I did not find the download link for previos versions.
