Windows 10 Pro x64
PortableApps.com Chrome portable Version 76.0.3809.100 (Official Build) (32-bit)

First, thank you for the awesome job creating the portable Chrome browser. I have only one issue that is of any significance.

Chrome is my default browser. It works fine when launched from a shortcut and shows all my extensions as expected.

Portable Chrome installer didn't install startup file and Chrome won't load

Submitted by 1StevenG on August 11, 2019 - 4:26am

Chrome Portable updated a few days ago. installed on a ramdisk. Appdata\Google is still on the hard disk from when when I had Chrome there.

This file, "GoogleUpdateCore.exe, is set to run at startup and the startup entry points to c:\appdata\google\… I am unable to find the file anywhere.

So when I use the AutoHotkey hotkey that I set up, it comes up with an error box that says that "companion programs not running".

This is an issue for people working on the update program as well as my personal frustration. Can anyone help me?

Thanks,
Steven

qBittorrent v4.1.7

Windows 7 64 bit
qBittorrent leaves .parts files behind when finished downloading and when i delete them and re-check it's no longer at 100% download.
It's like the files don't properly finish downloading/reassembling or whatever.

Google Chrome Portable 64-bit Stable?

On package there is statement that says : This is a temporary test as the 64-bit package will soon be combined into the main Google Chrome Portable package as a dual-mode app

It has been Date Added: 2009-05-28, and 10 years later and it still served as split apps

While https://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portable is by default already 64 bit and there is no dual mode to choose 32 bit instead so i wonder why this is not happening in chrome too ?
