I recently installed it but realized that its leaving behind following reg entries (could be more):

This is on Windows 7 SP1 x64, and the version of Chrome portable is latest till date i.e. "Version 72.0.3626.109 for Windows, Multilingual"

Portable Chrome Saves data on C: Drive

Submitted by freddo on January 6, 2019 - 11:31pm

I am new to Portableapps and have installed Chrome Portable 71.0.3578.98 from this site. It seems to work fine but it is not truly portable as it saves all the chrome settings under the C:\Username\Appdata\Local\Google\Chrome folder. Is there some way to make sure it saves the Chrome data into the folder were the program is run from instead of the C: drive?

Understanding Chrome Portable

Submitted by PortableGood on December 30, 2018 - 8:01pm

I tried installing Chrome Portable via the PortableApps Platform, and during install it presented a dialog box talking about pros and cons of using a Google account with it.

The text presented wasn't clear to me, so I cancelled the installation and decided I would ask for some clarification here.

1. If you install Chrome Portable via the PortableApps Platform, then use it WITHOUT a Google account, and then uninstall it, is anything left behind anywhere?
