Internet Apps Support

how can i run Chrome from my documents
it runs only from Desktop (not allowed in my work)
i have no accsess to Hard drive.
usb stick is also blocked
can i use it on cd ?
i can use only my documents freely
please help

google chrome portable 67.0.3396.87 can not run so google chrome portable rename in_online.paf.exe according to the notification from portable app

OperaPortable is using Official Opera Portable. But using --ppapi-flash-path="pepflashplayer.dll" command line option Flash Player can't load Flash objects, but loads Flash plug-in and identifies at https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html

If this forum isn't used where do we go for things that have no forum/support? Google Chrome for instance is not a choice in App Specific or Internet forums. My Original reason to post, Google Chrome right now version 67.0.3396.87 says it is 42MB Download 154MB Installed, but I download using the PA Banner which takes me to Sourceforge, after downloading it says it is 1.6MB, why is that ? I expect the full 42MB.

I have a laptop with Windows 10 pro on which I use Google Chrome Portable from Portable Apps. It helps me keep my browser settings and bookmarks on a key-chain pen drive because I travel quite a bit and have to use other people's computers.

Here's the problem. When I start it up and check Task Manager, it shows Google Chrome right on top under Apps with the number of processes it is running. But below that it shows another entry under Background Processes which says Google Chrome Portable (32 bit).

How does one upgrade to the latest version from the the portable
when it was tried it asked to download from their site

I'm trying to use the "Open Session in Putty" button in WinSCPPortable. I can configure update the configuration path in Options | Preferences | Integration | Applications | Putty/Telnet client path and it works as expected (I use KittyPortable ).

However, if I close WinSCP, reopen it, and click Open Session in Putty, it asks me to open PuttyPortable first. When I check the Options, it appears to reset.

I had a local (Programs) install of Chrome with desktop shortcuts.
To my three google profiles (work, leisure, community).
As I changed to Portable Chrome (still "local", i.e. C:), sync and such works.

But I can't figure out how to make a shortcut to start ChromeP with a specific profile (person).
(I have been searching here, and googling.)
ChromeP always starts with the same profile as was previously active.

i go to different sites for lab work and use filezila portable version on a usb, this morning used a brand new usb with fresh installation of portable version, was surprised that all my quick connect history was there when plugged into a public site PC. is there a way to erase that history on public PCs?
