Sunbird: "All day" not needed on monthly print

Submitted by goshawk on August 1, 2007 - 3:32pm

I've been waiting to upgrade until this bug is fixed, and it looks like it's been addressed in Calendar...but I'm not sure...

See comment number 6.

Any chance of it being fixed soon for Sunbird Portable?

Otherwise, I love this app!
thanks,
Leila

AbiWord: Default save directory

Submitted by bluedogranch on July 25, 2007 - 4:05pm

Is it possible to have a checkable option to set the default save location of a new document to the drive where AbiWord is located rather than the hard drive of the host PC?

Seems strange and unintuitive that when you're running a portable application the default save for AbiWord is to the hard drive of the host PC that you're trying to keep your files away from in the first place.

Ideas?

Adware in Sumatra??

Submitted by fisherman505 on July 23, 2007 - 8:08pm

Every time I open up Portable Sumatra, my Webroot Spy Sweeper immediately quaranteens Adware called "Maxifiles" which Webroot rates as "very high" on the severity scale.
Is Spy Sweeper making a mistake or does Sumatra have Adware in it??

Thanks.

Hi you all

I'm new about portable apps. I want to know why portable mozilla sunbird only stop in version 0.5?

I think it will be a great idea to have a newer version and newer themes (that compatible with mozilla sunbird)

Thank you so much

Making SumatraPdf accessible

Submitted by clauderenaud on June 25, 2007 - 12:46pm

Hi all,

The curent version of the SumatraPDf software is inaccessible for me (I'm blind).
But I can use Adobe reader because of its Screen reader accessibility feature integrated in it.
If I wanted to use SumatraPdf it is because of its portability essentially and in order to replace the very heavy Adobe reader.
I would like to know if accessibility could be enhanced in SumatraPDF, or if it could be possible to use when installed, the Adobe PDf rendering engine to overcome this accessibility problem ?

Error Starting Program Sunbird.exe

Submitted by champted on June 25, 2007 - 2:14am

When attempting to start Sunbird Portable v0.3.1 rev 2 from the Portable Apps Suite menu, I get a box entitled "Error Starting Program" and containing the text "The SUNBIRD.EXE file is linked to missing export USER32.DLL:UpdateLayeredWindow.", and when I click the OK box it goes away and Sunbird doesn't start.

I have searched the MozillaZine site, the support page on this site, and this forum, and I cannot find anything about this.

Environment: 1.8 GHz Pentium 4, Win98SE, over 600 MB space left on my 1GB PNY mini-Attache USB drive.

Any help will be appreciated.

Sunbird: Reminders/Notifications

Submitted by fot on June 12, 2007 - 8:15am

When Running Sunbird on work computer, any reminders that I have set to Pop-up and remind me of events, tasks etc... aren't "pulling through". In other word the event will come and go and no notificiation window will pop up to remind me. Yes I have selected to be reminded, Sunbird minimized in task bar will show, however work computers are set for task bar to be "auto hidden" and we as users are unable to change. Any Ideas?
