Office Apps Support

I thought portable apps were suppose to NOT put permanent stuff on the host system, yet abiword puts several things in the registry and also creates a folder in the person's useraccount folder (C:\Documents and Settings\accountname\AbiSuite) in which it saves the custom dictionary.
Clearly this should not happen heh.

I need to read the codes of abiword.So,at first,I should know the architecture of abiword.Is there any documents can help me?

I am trying to use a 3of9 barcode for abiword portable, but I can't figure out how to ad the font for the barcode to the portable app. PLEASE HELP

When I open Sunbird portable (calendar) and add a new event it is visible for numerous minutes...I can sign out then back in and it will still be visible...then after a while it disappears and I cannot locate or view my documentation.

I didn't dismiss or do anything to the event I added, e.g. birthday date of someone, etc.

Any idea's....

I just downloaded sb 0.3 - portable and have the following problems:

1) I have no File, Edit, Tools...etc menu at the top of the app.

2) When I right click in the calendar, a little grey box appears with nothing in it

3) Occasionaly on start-up I get a 'chrome error' - (I can provide more details if this is too generic a description)

I'm currently running this off a USB key on Windows 2000.

Any help is appreciated

I have downloaded AbiWord_Portable_2.4.5.exe,but it can only install in windows system.Is there any version for linux(such as redhat)?

I'm using PSB on my Flash Drive, and I've noticed that I can't see events that I enter at work when I'm home and vice versa. I'm using the default profile...any idea why this is happening? Do I need to run it locally in addition to running it on my flash drive, and if so, what's the point in having PSB in the first place?

Hi, not a coder at all, I just service computers and do some data recovery. Our company is roadtesting a small suite of portable apps, most in pretty good levels of development. Sunbird has such awesome potential. I'd just like to offer a few humble suggestions to the guys who write the code on features we'd like to see as the product gets more stable and more functional.

undo delete event. (that has to be number one.) limited to a single session of course, but the capacity to go "oh wait, I didn't mean to delete all those, just that one" and undo your mistake would be priceless.

custom keymap. Like in the gimp, how you can assign a new keyboard shortcut to often used functions. easily. without opening an editor, just by right clicking a highlighted menu item and selecting "map key"

I'm downloaded Sunbird Portable, and I downloaded version .02 of Local sunbird. I was not able to send information from the full app to the portable app or vice versa, i tried looking for the folder Documents and settings/~/applicationdate/ etc... so then I downloaded .03 of local. I can get files into the local one from the portable but not the other way, I can't find the folder to open then in!!
