sunbird 0.3 is ready...

Hi, not a coder at all, I just service computers and do some data recovery. Our company is roadtesting a small suite of portable apps, most in pretty good levels of development. Sunbird has such awesome potential. I'd just like to offer a few humble suggestions to the guys who write the code on features we'd like to see as the product gets more stable and more functional.

undo delete event. (that has to be number one.) limited to a single session of course, but the capacity to go "oh wait, I didn't mean to delete all those, just that one" and undo your mistake would be priceless.

custom keymap. Like in the gimp, how you can assign a new keyboard shortcut to often used functions. easily. without opening an editor, just by right clicking a highlighted menu item and selecting "map key"

I'm downloaded Sunbird Portable, and I downloaded version .02 of Local sunbird. I was not able to send information from the full app to the portable app or vice versa, i tried looking for the folder Documents and settings/~/applicationdate/ etc... so then I downloaded .03 of local. I can get files into the local one from the portable but not the other way, I can't find the folder to open then in!!

Is there any solution for exporting an AbiWord File/Text to PDF with AbiWord Portable ?

I am having a problem extracting my previously downloaded AbiWord_Portable_2.4.5.exe file.
When I double click the file I get the expected "7-Zip self-extracting archive" dialogue box but when I click the "Extract" button, I constantly get a 7-Zip Diagnostic message dialogue box which indicates that: "C:\..........\AbiWord_Portable_2.4.5.exe is not supported archive.
I have used several Portable Apps before and never encountered this problem in the past and I am familiar with the usual routine of extracting and using these types of applications.
I would appreciate any suggestions as to what the problem could be and how to fix it.

Hi, I've just started using portable Thunderbird and Sunbird. I like the idea of address book integration but the public calendaring stuff leaves me cold in an age of snooping.

My current plan is to continue until Lightning and Sunbird are past the 1.0 hump and then move from Sunbird to Lightning. Here is my question:

Will I experience any more pain moving from Sunbird to Lightning in, say, a year as opposed to starting out with Lightning right now? My guess is that standalone Sunbird is a little more mature just based on version numbers--please correct me if I'm wrong. Also, I want a rock-solid Thunderbird app since I depend on it for email, which inclines me to caution. I expect a future cutover from Sunbird to Lightning to be easy given their close relationship (or perhaps even identity to a large extent).

Maybe I'm way off base since I'm new to the U3 flash drive, but don't all portable programs have a U3p file to install? If so, where is the one for AbiWord?

I used the recurrence function to schedule events recurring several times each weeks. All events are properly displayed in the multiweek view but then disapear in the week or day view.

Any idea how to fix this issue?

Can I use Sunbird portable in Slovenian language? There is translation file
"c:\......\SunbirdPortable\App\sunbird\chrome\calendar-sl-SI.jar"

but I dont know if is possible to use it?
