When trying to open a document (any format) save in AbiWord Wordperfect get error message saying unrecognizable format

When I try to open the program after installing the plugin, I get an error msg saying that "AbiWord.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close."

I followed plugin installation instructions at https://portableapps.com/support/portable_abiword#plugins.

Without plugin, Abiword works fine. I'm running it on a Memorex 512 U3 USB drive.

How come there isn't a print preview option in portable AbiWord? My installed version has it.

The download link for AbiWord 2.4.4 with OpenDocument isn't working. You have to click the back link and select it manually to get it.

The webpage for Portable AbiWord says it's GPLd, and the download includes a copy of the GPL. Where is the source for it? Pointing me at the main AbiWord website does not suffice.

Hi, does someone knows how I can sync sunbird and Thunderbird with my SE P900 ??

I was able to shrink Abi word by dumping the healp files and anything non-english.:)

The blurb for AbiWord says:

Portable AbiWord ... has the ability to read and write a number of document types including Microsoft Word, Word Perfect, OpenOffice.org, RTF, HTML, Palm and more.

I've downloaded it, and it doesn't seem to recognise .odt as an extension. I've tried using "open with" on a .odt file, and also selecting "all files" from the "open" menu in AbiWord itself, but both times it just made it crash. How do you make it open .odt files, if it really can? That's what I've downloaded it for.
