Office Apps Support

Hello Friends. This is my first post in this forum. Recently I am suffering from an issue with my computer. Yesterday I saved some word documents from the office on my home computer by pen drive and I can't edit or modify them in any way. I don't understand why this is happening, and how this problem can be solved. Can anyone help me with this?

Changes made for font type or font size of Highlight (created by Comment\Area Highlight) are not stored after program restart. 'Setting Current Properties as Default' does not make any difference.

Windows 7 x64, fully updated; FoxIt Reader Portable Apps version 10.1.1.37576

I have encountered multiple occurances of FoxIt Reader 10.1.1 losing it's settings (my choices in it's "Preferences" menu and my choice of "skin" from it's menu). It is reverting to ALL of it's default settings. That means the application will "call home" to FoxIt with information for it's "User Experience Improvement" feature (also enabled by default, and did you know it did this?) That also means the default "Start Page" with it's advertising is enabled; BAH! Humbug!

I have run the PAF installer for Gnumeric Portable, then I have open Gnumeric: interface is in english.
So I have browsed inside of
--> C:\PortableApps\GnumericPortable\App\Gnumeric\share\locale\it\LC_MESSAGES
and there are some .mo files for italian language.

Then I have seen in -> C:\PortableApps\GnumericPortable\App\AppInfo\Launcher the file 'GnumericPortable.ini' and last rows are:
[LanguageStrings]
en_US=en
(changed to: it_IT=it)

Installed and all seems fine. Much appreciated.

I have recently installed Foxit Reader Portable v10.1.0 of PortableApps.

Now I have seen that are some folders in AppData

1. C:\Users\user_name\AppData\Roaming\Foxit Software\Addon
2. C:\Users\user_name\AppData\Roaming\Foxit Software\Foxit Reader

I've just updated Calibre to version 5.0.1 and find that the program won't run. Instead I get an error window titled: Unhandled exception running calibre.
The error message says:

Not sure the version of Excel file but open office asks me to input password to open the file. I didn't remember i have added a password to the file. Any way to fix this with portable apps?

I must say thank you so much for this awesome service I have made a donation and this is one of the best services out there as I never knew about portable apps before. I love the range of apps & that i don't have to continually update apps & i have far less issues since i went portable with my browsers.

Just today I had issues with Foxit reader not responding. I think there was an update at some point i can't recall. have a screenshot of error message:

I can't set my own language (Finnish-FI) in the language settings = PortableApps.com Platform version.
But Foxit Reader's Language Selector works when installed on my computer's desktop (PC Win 7 64-bit).
