Office Apps Support

Hi,
I have run the PAF installer for Gnumeric Portable, then I have open Gnumeric: interface is in english.
So I have browsed inside of
--> C:\PortableApps\GnumericPortable\App\Gnumeric\share\locale\it\LC_MESSAGES
and there are some .mo files for italian language.

Then I have seen in -> C:\PortableApps\GnumericPortable\App\AppInfo\Launcher the file 'GnumericPortable.ini' and last rows are:
[LanguageStrings]
en_US=en
(changed to: it_IT=it)

Installed and all seems fine. Much appreciated.

I have recently installed Foxit Reader Portable v10.1.0 of PortableApps.

Now I have seen that are some folders in AppData

1. C:\Users\user_name\AppData\Roaming\Foxit Software\Addon
2. C:\Users\user_name\AppData\Roaming\Foxit Software\Foxit Reader

I've just updated Calibre to version 5.0.1 and find that the program won't run. Instead I get an error window titled: Unhandled exception running calibre.
The error message says:

Not sure the version of Excel file but open office asks me to input password to open the file. I didn't remember i have added a password to the file. Any way to fix this with portable apps?

I must say thank you so much for this awesome service I have made a donation and this is one of the best services out there as I never knew about portable apps before. I love the range of apps & that i don't have to continually update apps & i have far less issues since i went portable with my browsers.

Just today I had issues with Foxit reader not responding. I think there was an update at some point i can't recall. have a screenshot of error message:

I can't set my own language (Finnish-FI) in the language settings = PortableApps.com Platform version.
But Foxit Reader's Language Selector works when installed on my computer's desktop (PC Win 7 64-bit).

I'm experiencing a strange problem with GNUcash as follows:
When trying to launch the program from the portableapps menu via the usual single left click, nothing happens. I then found that using a right click and 'Run as administrator' launches the program just fine. However, sometimes, a single left click will still work.
So far, I haven't been able to establish a pattern of when the left click does/doesn't work. It seems to be random.

Hi, It's been a long time since my last post here but I'm still an active PApps user.
Question is as follows, I have a Calibre Portable installation in a USB drive wihtout anything else. Just the App and the library with dafault settings. This app is storing 1000 PDFs which are scientific papers about a specific subject. The intention is to allow colleagues to copy the USB drive so they can have the collection with them. I renamed the CalibrePortable.exe to something like ScientificJournals.exe and that's the only think I changed in that USB.
