How do I keep the accounts separate ?
I want to keep the, "Bank Accounts" and "Credit Card Accounts" from Affecting my "Cash Account". or the Where the Money goes and comes from sections.

It seems that Foxit merged Ink Signing and their eSign service. I can understand why eSign would not be available in the PA, as it requires a local service to run. But without the UI for it, it doesn't seem possible to switch to Ink Sign.

The full app appears to use the following Reg entry to control which version of signing is active:

Today, a friend from Denmark told me about Obsidian. But because I wanted a portable app, I first tried something called Joplin. I didn't know Joplin supported HTML like , and I was frustrated that I couldn't make additional line breaks, so I switched back to Obsidian. I learned Obsidian allows HTML. Then I spent a few hours trying to make Obsidian portable. I made it portable using a .bat launch file that someone had created. But I couldn't really pin the .bat launch file to the taskbar. I mean, I could.

Restarting computer did not change anything.

Updater says an update for QOwnNotes is available. Updater says new version is 22.1.2.

Updater downloaded a 27,484kB file, then downloaded (another?) file of the same size, then issued this alert: "The downloaded copy of QOwnNotes is not valid and can not be installed. This could be due to an incomplete download or other network issue. Please try running the updater again when complete."

Identical results on two different PCs in two different locations.

Like the title says, I'm looking at purchasing a license for PDF-XChange Editor, but I'm curious if registering it will do something to no longer make it fully portable. I'm assuming not, but just wanted to double check to make sure.

1. "Task Coach" folder is left in AppData/Roaming. It does not get removed once the program is closed.
2. The program icon hangs in Windows Tray even after the program shutdown. If you hover the mouse pointer over it then it will disappear.

When I open multiple documents by marking them in a file explorer and hitting the enter key, Sumatra PDF overwrites the portable settings with a default version of the settings.

The system requirements for Sumatra PDF are "Windows Vista, 7, 8, 10, 11", which suggests the 64bit version of Sumatra PDF. However, only the 32bit version is included in the PAF.

Due to memory restrictions, the 32bit version of Sumatra PDF cannot open big files (either one huge file or several big files). This is a problem when Sumatra PDF is used as a comic book reader. High quality cbr/cbz are often several hundred MB in size, and some are >1GB.

I was recently prompted to update GnuCash to version 4.8 and did so. When I subsequently launched the program I found that my preferences had been removed, presumbaly reset to default. Also, GnuCash did not open my database by default, I had to manually open it (File > Open...).

I've got an idea this may have occurred in the past but I don't think it's happened with every GnuCash Update. That is, my preferences are usually not affected by an update. My question is: is this (preferences being reset) an expected behaviour with version 4.8, or a glitch?
