Graphics & Pictures Apps Support

In the latest portable release (GIMPPortable_2.10.0-2.paf.exe) that I have installed in portable apps I am having major issues using the program. Things like no descriptive text when I hover over the tools, selecting pencil shows no circle on the graphic when I try to draw, I cannot save my ".xcf" files. There are more but I didn't want to make the list too big.

Currently it is unusable.

Is it possible to open SONY ARW files with GIMP, using RAWTHERAPEE protable as a converting tool
I have loaded both portable Tools in one portable file System.

After the update to GIMP 2.10, all my plugins were uninstalled, some of which I really depend on (e.g. liquid rescale, resynthesizer, greystoration)

When I tried reinstalling them, I got nothing but error messages.

Anybody know if there's an ETA for a new Gimp Plugin Registry site, with plugins that are sure to work with 2.10?

Installed gimp 2.10 rev 2 on windows 7 64b ( french settings).
When gimp is launched, some icons are completly missing ( new layer e.g) and replaced by single dot, whatever themes or icons set I choose !

Gimp is located in :
C:\Programmes Portables\Image\GIMP 2.10 Portable

Can you help me ?

Using portable apps on Windows 10, when opening or exporting a file, you can browse down to C:\directory-a\directory-b\directory-c but you cannot navigate back to C:\directory-a\directory-b

In prior versions, you could navigate to the previous level.

Is GIMP 2.10 packaged as a PortableApp a 32 bit or 64 bit application?
If it's both, how can I force 64 bit version to run?

I ask, because I have Win7 64 bit and when I run GIMP, the 32 bit version is launched.

I did some looking around on the 'net and GIMP 2.10 doesn't seem to have been deprecated for XP, but it won't open on my old offline machine at all. (In Task Manager, GIMPPortable.exe appears briefly and then disappears.) This is a completely vanilla virgin install on a usb with the customary path (~:\PortableApps\GIMPPortable\), XP SP3 x86, English language. Opens okay on Win7, haven't tried on Win10.

I downloaded the help files package from GIMP to install into my portable App but i dont know where to install them to. any help would be appreciated.

I did a clean install of GIMP 2.10 Portable yesterday. When I try to open a file in another drive in the file directory, there is no response. I have to open up windows file explorer and drag and drop the file I want to use to the GIMP file directory and create a bookmark the file if I want to close and reopen GIMP. The directory worked fine in previous versions. I completely uninstalled the old version of Gimp from Portable Apps. Is a fix in the future for this problem?
