How may I transfer the settings for Firefox and Thunderbird to USB Stick?
I need to dump my bookmarks and mail from Firefox and Thunderbird to my USB stick.
How? Is there an app for this somewhere?
Thanks for the help.

The javascript is greatly accelerated for some reason. It runs faster than any other browser, but doesn't load faster if you know what I mean. And that is Google chrome is faster at loading, but runs at the intended speed. While FireFox runs the script as fast as possible. So, how can I slow it down to get java based web apps to run as intended. Also I think this could be a problem with flash instead of jave, but I don't know.
Will i be able to run firefox portable in openVMS Alpha system?? I need to know this before i start any research on portable firefox.
Hi. I've read through several posts about FFP and other portable apps like Thunderbird and is it correct that there is no Profile Manager for FFP?
I'm trying to set up 2 different profiles on my thumb drive for me and my son. I've tried to run FirefoxPortable.exe -ProfileManager through the command line and it doesn't work. I read a thread that if you use the -ProfileManager command line with FirefoxPortable.exe that it passes that command line to the Firefox.exe application in the App\Firefox\ folder, but that's not true, because it didn't work.
Is there a way to tell FFP to use computer's default Temp folder for caching instead of Profile/Cache directory? When I use the browser from my flash drive, multiple writes to it are not very healthy for the flash memory and also considerably slower.
For example, Opera saves those files to C:/Documents and Settings/"user account"/Local Settings/Temp and later deletes them all when closed. Thanks.
Hi,
I need to run portable Firefox-2 in Win98, how can I install Flash-9 in the Firefox-2 ?
(Win98 can't use current Flash-10)
(The method suggest in https://portableapps.com/support/firefox_portable#plugins just install the "current" version Flash)
Thanks for help in advance.
If y'all's agreement with Mozilla allows it, anyway.
Portable Firefox just crashed on me, and when I tried to submit the crash report, it just said "There was an error submitting your crash report." Funny thing is, I'm pretty sure that it always does that. Firefox has crashed on me three, MAYBE four times since I've used it (to where the crash reporter comes up) and I don't remember it ever successfully submitting its crash report.
I have just upgraded to V3.0.10 from V3.0.4 on Windows XP Pro SP3.
I don't notice any difference between the versions so far. The reason I upgraded was due to this CPU hogging by Firefox. This happens only on certain websites. Here is an example of a website that does this:

This issue has been posted about a few times before, and, if my search-fu is to be trusted, has never been resolved, or even replied to. Here's hoping for a break from tradition.
First, I want to state clearly, and for the record, that this is not a request for portable Java. I don't need portable Java and I don't care about portable Java.
If I just pull my flash drive out of my computer, is there a way to make Firefox, and basically all of the programs I am using with Portable Apps, automatically close?
