Firefox Portable

how install silverlight on portable firefox 3.0?

Downloaded and started FF3 Portable the other day...no problems. This morning, when I try to start it up, I get the PortableApps/FF3 splash screen, and then the Crash Reporter. Details of the crash are:

First of all please tell me if this tutorial is good for migrating from Firefox 3.0 to Portable?

Please tell me which profile files are considered 'cache files'?

I was just wondering... What Addons are you people using in FFP and if they work in FFP3 or not.
Here's my list:

I am not sure but I think this issue has something to do with driver letter of my USB stick. It is H: on my home computer and F: on the one at work. The problem is; Firefox shows only the files I browse at home in the History. The files I browse at work do not ever go to History. Back - Forward buttons work but it adds nothing to History.

portable FFox 3.0 identifies itself as
"Mozilla Firefox 3 Beta 5"

If it's only beta, why doesn't portableapps list it as being only beta?...

(Must be that's why it won't allow me to DL and install other themes)

P.S. - And while I'm on a roll, what's the diff 'twixt a beta and a release candidate?... (while running beta 5, I got a popup offering to DL "RC2"...)

Today if I lunch PFF3 after the splash a messagge become: FF running but not responde ecc. ecc. I press OK and the program quit.
Naturally there isn't another istance of FF3.
In safe mode the preblem persist.

I don't know if anyone else is having this problem, but I can't log in to my portableapps.com account with Firefox 3 portable. It just resets the login form, but doesn't go anywhere. I've tried disabling all my addons, plugins, and even re-installing, but it still doesn't work. Does anybody have any ideas or help? I can't stand Internet Exploder. (No, that wasn't a typo.)

I updated my portable Compact Flash Card image on my hard drive with Portable Firefox 3 to make sure everything functioned properly. Firefox 3 will not run whereas Firefox 2.0.0.14 runs perfectly. Non-portable Firefox 3 runs fine. I installed a copy of FF3 RC2(portable) and I have the same problem. Does anyone have an idea of what needs to be changed to correct this problem? System AMD dual core 4600+ with 2GB ram.

I've downloaded FFP3 and it works great but I was with FFP2 (like a lot of people) and I'd like to transfert all my settings and passwords. Do there is a way to make a backup of these settings from FFP2 to FFP3 without reprogram one by one?
