Firefox Portable

How do all these adaptive features of AwesomeBar work on Firefox Portable, the browser that does not save history of previously visited sites? Is it capable of learning, as advertised by the developers, or we're SOL?

I am still using it but there is already a patch in the works.

Got the latest version of flash, and it's working pretty much every site I go to. But, at this site:

http://www.neave.com/imagination/

It's telling me that I need the latest version installed. Some of the other links on neave site work perfectly fine, but the imagination one, and a few others don't.

Don't know if this is the sites fault or Firefox Portables. But in my system install of Firefox 3, the above link is working. Internet Explorer, and Opera also display the site fine.

Then, "Only first run", NSIS error.
A lot of FirefoxPortable.exe process has been created.
NSIS error OK button, "Browser Crasher", like many Firefox window opens.

This is, FirefoxPortable.exe, 2-byte characters (Japanese), including when placed in the path.

Example
C:\(Japanese)\FirefoxPortable\FirefoxPortable.exe occur.

Unfortunately, I can't get the "Warn me when closing multiple tabs" option to work in Firefox 3.0. I opened two tabs for testing and tried both start options of "show my home page" and "show my windows and tabs from last time" with the same result: closing Firefvox does not produce a warning that I am closing multiple tabs. Can someone please help?

Some plugins have files that are installed to the "components" folder (I first install plugins on the desktop non-portable FF, and then copy them to portable FF), for example:

* Flash has flashplayer.xpt file
* QuickTime has nsIQTScriptablePlugin.xpt file
* Windows Genuine Advantage has nsILegitCheckPlugin.xpt files
* RealPlayer has nppl3260.xpt and nsJSRealPlayerPlugin.xpt files

I have the "Remember What I've Downloaded" option checked, but my download history is not saved between sessions. I was wondering if there was a way to make FFP3.0 remember what has been downloaded or is this a limitation of the portable version?

I installed it onto my USB drive V: with "disable store tabs etc." equal yes. I installed into exact same folder as V2 (yes, I have several backups). Now thing is, drive V: is a Trucrypt encrypted mounted volume inside of drive F:(my USB stick). So ten I tried installing onto non-encrypted volume F:(USB stick) and PFF comes up ok. So maybe it has something to do with running on an encrypted drive? V2 runs on encrypted drive V: just fine..

Anyone else having problems with the new del.icio.us plug-in for FF3? It worked fine on the PC that I installed FF3 Portable, but on another PC del.icio.us isn't loaded with portable FF.

Is the problem that the del.icio.us plug-in is not compatible with the portable version of Firefox 3?

I have download the last version (3.0).
It is working OK, but I think that I made a mistake before, and the Firefox is trying to update automatically to version 2.0.0.14.

How can I dissable this issue?

I am working with Protable APP in a USB flash drive, and my PC is running Windows XP.
